  1. Let's work out a plan in PM!

Does this still not end up just being a website within a WebView? Or does it have some crazy magic JS to Objective-C / Java compiler? Going to go and answer my own question! https://docs.nativescript.org/core-concepts/technical-overview?_ga=2.55062443.1060648082.1551772759-150989056.1551772759 it still runs the JS in a Virtual Machine and just has lots of lovely abstractions around core APIs and layout handling. I imagine there’s a minor performance penalty along with increased bundle sizes, but that shouldn’t really be a concern as it’ll be way easier to build and maintain.

    Hello All

Welcome back! Feel free to ask those questions in the various help forums we have and I’m sure the community would love to help.
  4. Yeah that counts, can be as hard as building a game. If not harder! Care to share the link?
  5. Are you telling me @SRB ran one of the classics? rm -rf / Don't run the above kids.
  6. @NonStopCoding please refrain from posting links to code offsite, I've updated your post with the code in a code block.

That's an application issue with IPB, not sure if I'm going to invest that much time in rebuilding aspects of the software.
  8. Ah yes! @Dayo you can enable browser notifications here: https://makewebgames.io/notifications/options/

I have a list of things to resolve, this is one of them!
  10. It seems like push notifications are available in Chrome. I just received a popup within the notifications panel asking me if I wanted to stay in touch to enable notifications.

I didn't write the migration scripts so ?‍♀️ID's shouldn't really matter anyway. If I wrote the migration script I probably wouldn't retain ID's. There are a lot of rewrite rules int his new site, so things should still be discoverable.
  12. Thanks MTG, I really appreciate this! @ColdBlooded had to painfully send me the database, but apart from that I had to grind away getting everything set back up.
  13. Yeah it’s trting to make Linux an option for the mainstream. Ubuntu still requires a fair amount of terminal usage so they tried to eliminate that. I use a MacBook Pro day to day, I like to focus on my code rather than worrying about breaking my OS, like I always do when I’m running Linux.

Most likely when we migrated there were some empty IDs between 1 and 280, so auto increment did it’s magic and you got a new shiny ID.
  15. I’m a Fedora / CentOS guy myself! Much prefer it over the Debian flavours. I actually used Elementary for a little while on my gaming PC, it’s pretty neat and overall a good experience. Shame it’s based on Debian eh.

These were the really good old days!
  17. Yeah it’s something to do with your specific mailbox then. At least it got somewhere and didn’t just bounce!
  18. Yeah you can use BBCode, I can add the toolbar icon to the mobile view.
  19. Looks like we ended up on IPB after all. Stahp!
  20. The amount of people over their quota was crazy, I had to raise the default limit so people weren’t just locked out.
  21. Now you’re probably the oldest member of the forum by sign up date!
  22. Welcome back! Why’d you decide to stop coding?
  23. I think I’m going to have to custom code that. I also want to add the ability to restrict code blocks to guests, so maybe I’ll do them together!
