1. game As there has been 2 participants in this game, and the very definition of "last" is; coming after all others in time or order; final. I win...? As I've come after all previous participants, plus, I posted "game" - last person to post game. I followed the rules.
2. I played on steam for about 1 month, then my gaming PC broke, and I've not replaced it in around 17 months. I had 5 games, played 1, I think :D //RaiseMoneyForSnikosGamingPC.com
3. Also, querying the database every 1 second for every user is a little extreme. You may want to look into server-push solutions such as APE.
4. I think that's more of a limitation of the browser the end-user is using, not the application (McCodes). It would be very easy to adapt McCodes to look at .css files.

Tidy the code up Make an attempt at solving it yourself Show your attempt If decent enough try, I'll help I'll give you the rod, but not the fish.

What do you mean by "timing is out"?   Cron is triggered at the wrong time The file should execute and finish under x seconds ...

Crons

Trigger them in the browser; http://site.com/cron.php Run them in the console; php /var/www/html/cron.php

Do you need to contact your hosting provider to ask them to activate them? If you run them manually, what happens?

Looks pretty awesome! (I can't imagine all those guys sharing a shed :p)

Sessions?

OutcasT can you define what the main page is?
11. +infinity for Digital Ocean!
12. I'm still tweaking it a little, and improving it visually :) Should be online soon.
13. With the overheads of running a website 24/7 - time, sever maintenance, electricity, security enhancements/pen testing - you're better off going with the professional company that will do the majority of that for you, for a small* price; leaving you to focus on your site and audience. But that's my opinion.
14. Thanks wrux! I'll be playing around with the design on the development environment later tonight.
15. Is the most concern about the design this area for you, wrux? I'd love to get feedback on where the design flaws are, so I can improve them. Thanks
16. Thanks! I'll be playing with the design on the development server over the next couple days.   I find this hard to believe because the Q&A system is on an entirely different server, with no direct access to the forum database. The API only validates a forum user ID, and sends a PM; it doesn't alter any user details - however, feel free to prove me wrong. I think that what most likely happened, was that your browser overwrote your saved password for MakeWebGames?
17. Do them in this order, IMO;   Functions Class Remind Me Group Project eBlog You'd be able to use each system to develop the next system ;) #resourceful
18. Script47 - Which what should you pick, or am I missing something?
19. Or store the action string in the database in `item_categories`, and fetch them before looping through your inventory?
20.   You may want to typecast that to string.   <?php $array = array("string" => (string) "20", "int" => (int) 20, "float" => (float) 20.00, ); foreach($array as $type => $test) { echo (ctype_digit($test) ? 'VALID' : 'INVALID') .' - '. $type .'<br />'; }   Will return; VALID - string INVALID - int INVALID - float
21. Magictallguy, not as far as I know, no.
22. With AJAX, select usernames that are close to the users input. For example; if I input "sni", only users with "sni" characters in their name would be in the dropdown list ;)
23. I've quite a few, but mainly running centos 6.4 LAMP stack!
24. --- Quote --- When someone asks me where I host my stuff, I say with confidence the same company every time - Digital Ocean. Since I joined them a few months back (maybe November 2013...?), I've not only had 100% uptime (their guarantee is 99.99% Uptime), but their support is fast, reliable, and easy! I highly suggest you signup and deploy a droplet with them and follow them on Twitter for the latest news. Source But in all seriousness They're awesome to do business with!
25. College is around 7 hours a day = 21 hours a week Work is around 9 hours a day = 27 hours a week A week has 168 hours, and you're busy 48 of them. Believe it or not, but you have time! Even Bill Gates had 24 hours in a day. Aside from that, good luck with the sale!
