Nope, but if you're using lots of resources we'll let you know so you can tweak it.

Haha I did my research prior, as I thought you answer was correct too. I never even knew define had a 3rd argument. I just assume everything is case sensitive as I work between Mac and Linux.
-
According to the RFC here: https://wiki.php.net/rfc/case_insensitive_constant_deprecation passing the third parameter as true is what's causing the deprecation error. You need to just define the constant without the third argument. <?php define('djlk34jlk', true);

I’m also waiting to see!

Great! What was the problem you found?

@Eurogangster as @sniko (and I previously on Discord) said you're comparing a string to an integer, this check is going to create some weird results. Diff returns a string and shouldn't be used for comparison. You should actually just compare between the two DateTime instances you already have declared, the diff call just gives you the output to display to your users. Take the following example from PHP.net (https://www.php.net/manual/en/datetime.diff.php). This shows the 3 different types of comparisons you can do on DateTime <?php $date1 = new DateTime("now"); $date2 = new DateTime("tomorrow"); // Are the dates the same? var_dump($date1 == $date2); // Is date 1 before date 2? var_dump($date1 < $date2); // Is date 1 after date 2? var_dump($date1 > $date2); ?> In your case you're wanting to compare if the bodyguard timer is greater than the current time. $currentTime = new DateTime(); $bodyguardTime = new DateTime(); $bodyguardTime->setTimestamp($user->getTimer("bodyguard")); if ($bodyguardTime > $currentTime) { // Has a bodyguard $timeRemaining = $currentTime->diff($bodyguardTime); $timeRemaining = $timeRemaining ->format(" %h hours, %i minutes "); $page->addToTemplate('bodygua_timer',$timeRemaining); }

I'm glad too, great to see all the old names returning 🙂

As Dayo said in a previous message you can just manually delete the install directory.

I don't think so, I'm unsure how GLv2 sends emails but normally in PHP you define a from address.- 3 replies

GraphQL would be the better and more modern choice!

This would be really cool, I keep wanting a reason to use React Native for something so this may enable me to do so. Do you intend to use GraphQL or REST?

mccode-v2 The Legendary Eurogangster is back with new Name

Good luck with the launch! It seems like your forgot password system is not sending mails correctly, or they're getting marked as spam instantly and not even making it to my mailbox. I lied it just took a good 5 minutes to get delivered, it also seems like you're sending email from your hostgator hosting rather than from a game email address. As the email came from mafiashot@ga****92.hostgator.com- 3 replies

Want to post some newer screenshots showing us where the project is today?

Most games use the "Gym stats" to handle this. Things like strength, defense, speed etc. Each one of these stats is combined into an algorithm to determine who can hit first, damage etc. These attack systems typically do multiple attacks until a single player is out of HP. TORN has the idea of a stale mate as you can be fairly balanced and end up just both missing or doing 0 damage. For instance MCCodes calculates damage with the following algorithm: $mydamage = (int) (($r1['weapon'] * $youdata['strength'] / ($odata['guard'] / 1.5)) * (rand(8000, 12000) / 10000)); $hitratio = max(10, min(60 * $ir['agility'] / $odata['agility'], 95)); This takes the weapon damage times by the strength, the divides by the enemies guard (or defense). Then some more calculations, the hit ratio is calculated based in agility vs opponents agility.
