Actually I meant it’s a bit of both. We (As a site) didn’t want mccodes involved in the running of MWG. When they originally took over many members made it clear if they took too much of an active role they would simply leave. Well they should have at least had some interest they couldn’t win one way or the other. Now people are pointing the finger for doing what they were asked to do by the sites members. Setting up a new forum, and adding content people are interested in reading/discussing, pushing other members to contribute such content, and of course gaining members that actual start discussions (help or otherwise) is not that easy. Even if people did follow them over it helps to have a main software to focus discussion on to begin with. Other members have tried and well they should have been the better option people continued to post here/elsewhere. Of course it can be done, however how many people care to put the time in?

Honestly I’ve seen sites come back from worse, however that said it was through advertising, contacts (getting the few professionals that post there to contribute weekly or more), and a lot of work from the owners. At the moment I’m not even sure who the site is being run by. The owners are simply never around. Of course saying that we were clear at the start we didn't want them making the site completely about mccodes, and as such they took a step back. In defense of the other thread deleting it wouldn’t have helped at the start. All it would have done is remove clear proof that the user is claiming others work as their own. I only deleted it in the end because it was still escalating. Banning his/her multiple accounts won’t stop them popping back up because the IP is dynamic (I checked a while go), and he shares IP’s with at least 1 user who has been around for a long time.

Is this supposed to be aimed at me because I don’t see anyone who has said they don’t actually like it?

Honestly I think comparing this to runescape rather than minecraft is easier since it has quests, and a fair amount of the features you’re aiming for. Minecraft (or what little time I spent on it) has no story line? As I have said before it looks like it has amazing potential if all goes to plan, however it’s a large project and would take a lot of planning for the features to work seamlessly. I’m also interested to know why you picked JS, and what happened to your former project nebularider as I felt that had a lot of potential to it.

I don't see why an App would be good advertising (other than word of mouth), however it's the same principle of checking facebook, and gaining notifications for games that work through them. That notification would get you back to your PC to check something on your farm (farmville) for example. In all honesty facebook notifications (since they are probably going to be checking them via their phone more often then a game specific app) are cheaper, and often better advertising anyway. Back on topic what exactly are you offering? You have a FREE version of Mccodes and what? Do you have any skills yourself? A decent host ready to go?

What Hedge seems to mean is did you use mccodes as a template to create it? Layout aside much of the gameplay (e.g. crystal temple, how will is used, gangs etc...) resembles mcc.

I just installed the free version, and have no errors showing. Are you sure the install went correctly?

Using webs.com and a sub domain does not give a professional image. It's clear enough to me that your "custum game" has very close similarities to Tc-codes (I think the names correct?) that was recently spammed, also used a webs.com sub domain, and together with your own double spam in nearly random threads says to me your the same person with a new account. As for the actual site there is a dead link on the login (the "demo account" link"), gangs link in explore.php all give errors once clicked, and the file names (including several back end files) shouts mccodes to me. I would suggest you consider you looking at what you're offering, and exactly how you're selling yourself.
