njfrlng Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Ive been looking around for a decent game engine, but it seems they are all dead. McCodes and NW-Engine are the two I'd like to use, but both are graveyards it seems. (Mccodes doesnt even have a working demo on their website for any version of their engines.) Is there anything out there today thats still supported but has the same features the two above have? Quote
gamble Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Honestly at this point in the game it is best to just make a custom game. Thats just my opinion though. Quote

njfrlng Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 grpg is good but pretty much dead but there are game owners there and new people coming to the engine I cant even find where to download GRPG. MCcodes all the links seem to be broken as well. (On the official website) Quote

(On the official website) Maybe with the server migration they didn't bring over the subs. But the purchase link seems to work if you have an account. As as I have told you before as well I'm trying to get back into NWE module development myself. Development of the modules and engine for it may be a bit slow but I think people are still interested in the game development aspect from what I can see from my developer account. Quote

Not the purchase link for the free version. I dont want to buy until I've experimented with the engine and confident it can do what i want. Quote
Zettieee Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 NWE is an engine. MCC is an engine wrapped around a game. GRPG is a game. Quote
