Who's made the best mods

Hi,

Well, I haven't been here for a while, and I hardly know all the members skills and knowledge(A_B very smart). But I was wondering. Over the years the CE/MWG/MCCF has been open, who's made and developed the best modification that have helped your game, and a great addition. :)

Well sorry to disappoint you guys, but I never worked with McCode nor I do plan to do so. So I'm certainly not the best candidate as mod developer.

Not out of his "league". He just decide's not to work with MCCode's as there programming is just made poorly.

Well, I've read some of A_B posts, and he is very smart. Compared to MCC, Bert is out of Mcc League.

Best ideas really. Developed is kind of important, but something that has really helped games(in your point of view).

Illusions for sure at least for ideas there must be well over 30 mods of his on this site all new ideas at the time

if your talking best developed i think there are a lot of mods that are well made the gang mod stands out due to its size but since then there has been one even bigger (sniko's gang mod?) i feel a lot of good mods have been posted and a lot are well developed (and yes a lot are not)

They're is no right answer to this question, Everyone has made a great contribution and we've come together as a community and supplied some great modifactions for people who cannot make them.

Illusions has come along with some good ideas, but some concentrate on the core as that's the most important. I do believe Magictallguy has shown some good mods to the community.

MTG did re-vamp the forums to secure the crap out of them for free, as well as a few other basic scripts.

Well im honestly touched cheers guys :) its always nice to make a mod and even better when it gets a good reception/review as your aware ive never owned a running mccodes game but i have joined a fair few games from people on here and tried to work out what id like to see in a game..

But i have to be honest some of my mods were joint efforts from some of the great people on here so everyone on here deserves some reognistion :)

IMO, Sniko does a very nice job of developing mods that work well, are creative in their design, and as economy stability is high on my list, his mods seem to promote this concept. Only drawback to Sniko's mods is that as nice a guy as he is, and willing to help, he doesn't do custom just for you mods. His belief that he likes coding and wont turn it into a job means he develops things how he wants and not on a timeline. So hiring him is difficult (if not impossible), but his existing and future mods are sure to be great.

IMHO there is no `best` mod developer, yes there are good and bad developers but each coder has there good and bad points.
