Looking to transfer my whole MCCodes.com account with attached mods. I'm adding SS to show earnings and downloads to date. Asking $40 OBO. No plans on being active in this community in the foreseeable future, so I don't really want to take the time to worry about the mods or creating news ones. And I can't justify just giving it away for free, so I'm more than open for negotiations. If you wish to purchase, message me. If we go with your offer, you'll have to provide half the payment up front, I'll give you the account info, and then you pay the rest. Note: Not changing the purchase method. You're at no risk using PayPal if I don't hold up my end. Won't be responding in this thread. PM me if you're interested. Basically first come first serve. EDIT: Also included with the account - AJAX gang and cart mods.

I had this done on DW. What I did was add a column to the users table. If a user registered with FB or added FB to their already existing account, it used the FB API to update the corresponding column to their FB ID. Then, when they go to log in using FB in the future, it would just cross check the ID of the FB account they're logged into with existing FB-linked accounts in the game.

Until they "here" from you.... Lol

To be clear, if you're using PayPal, once you hit over 200 transactions AND $20,000 revenue in a calender year, they supply you with the needed tax forms. If you don't meet both of these criteria, you don't have to worry about it. https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/helpcenter/helphub/article/?solutionId=FAQ729&topicID=MANAGE_BUSINESS_AND_SALES_TOOLS&m=TCI

Dropped the price to $30. I just want to get rid of it. Edited post accordingly.

List of Trusted Coder and Scammers - Chosen By You
Seker replied to Script47's topic in Collaboration Experiences
I have to say, I personally think these lists are a bad idea. Some people work behind the scenes. Don't draw attention to themselves. Something like this tends to assure potential customers only seek out the people on this list, not giving the others a fair shot. -
DW is still very much for sale and the price is open to negotiation. Just come with a reasonable offer. Some basic stats - Total Earned - $25,967 Total Accounts - 2,213 Huge potential for growth is still there. As far as advertising, just $25 or so into Facebook ads can net you 20+ signups, so there's a lot that could be done.
-
Not sure. Depends on interest generated here. Will happen quickly, though. I've got some personal things I have going on and need to get this done.

Negotiation is possible, but it would need to be a realistic counter offer.

Reopening this thread. DW is back for sale. Asking price is $8,000. The upped price is due to an increase in donator activity over the past couple months. Only serious buyers need inquire. I'm coming here before Flippa because I've had bad experiences with people backing out there and here, at least, everyone knows what they're getting into as far as working on a game. Daily players is sitting roughly around 30. No time or expertise to put into advertising. With a little effort, you could easily triple that number. Have had good experience with Facebook ads. District Wars is fully integrated as a Facebook app, complete with sharing options. I'll happily provide screenshots of PayPal and in game Donation logs to any serious buyers. With purchase, you'll get the contents of the server, the domain, and the Facebook page and app rights. Total purchases made in the last three months: $4,421 As I said, with a little effort in advertising and staying on top of player interests, you can easily make your money back and then some in just a couple months. Message me to discuss it.

You're not going to find anything more widely adapted than Wordpress.

I just don't get the "by clicks" thing. For the more hardcore players, you'd have to set the click amount way high for it to matter. (I know I clocked in over 300 clicks a minute when running some tests for a captcha I implemented.) And, for the more casual players, putting an amount that high will likely turn them off as not being worth it, anyway. Just doesn't seem all that "advanced." My opinion, is all. Would love to be proven wrong, though.

Do what now? There's nothing wrong with GIMP.

ORDER BY bugDATEPOST This column is nowhere in the SQLs provided.

What's the exact error? Did you run the SQL?

You have a weird definition of "neat."

Joining three tables to one query
Seker replied to Coly010's topic in MySQL, Oracle, Postgress or other DB
Found this site, which diagrams it for a visual comparison. Worth a look. http://www.khankennels.com/blog/index.php/archives/2007/04/20/getting-joins/ -
Kind of what you have to figure out before you decide to have a running game. ;)

That's calling the function, not defining it... Do you have any clue what you're doing? Be honest here.
-
The noobiest explanation ever: 1) The "i" stands for "improved." 2) Deprecation on MySQL has already started. 3) Use MySQLi

First off.. $gc = rand(1, 1); What? Secondly, this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagettftext() in /home/******/public_html/reg_captcha.php on line 98 I'd say that's fairly obvious. You're missing a function.

Not to mention, a subject like "too soon" is very subjective. I get the feeling this guy isn't the most experienced. However, you or I do not actually know this. You never have any idea how long it will take one person to the next to do a certain task. Just because one project may take one developer a year plus to finish does not mean it will take another developer the same amount of time to complete a different project. It's silliness and there's no reason for that line of thinking.
