  1. It's way too dark for me. I have to move my head around just to see where the boxes end/start. The contrast just doesn't work for me. You have a really dark background, but then your font you decided to use some very bright colors with over glow to it. I am not a huge fan of over glow unless it flows really well and makes sense why the text would be glowing. This does not do that for me.
  2. Hello Bloodless, If you are interested in purchasing a design, please add me on Skype (pleaman05). We can discuss the details you are looking for and I can make sure to match your exact requirements. Thank you Pete
  3. Which one was this? The link doesn't work - - - Updated - - - Oh now, I remember :P Yeah, that one was from a while ago. PS, need to add in the index.html part.
  4. Are those stat bars yours? They look pretty darn similar to the ones from Prisonstruggle and most of SOSFactory game stats. It's one thing to try to remake it, however by comparing them in my photoshop they look completely identical besides the color, which is easily changeable in Photoshop.
  5. Not bad Ben Nash. It's a very simple design, but like your thread title says it is a 'Clean Theme'. Now with that said, it's a little too 'clean' or simple. Definitely needs more to it, to draw peoples attention. Even though you are trying to do a simple design, you should focus on how things are structured. The way text is displayed or even how the color blends together.
  6. Yeah, at this point, there is no truly way for one to show who the real owner is/was. The problem when you create a product, is that you need the proper documents to support the claim that it is yours. Where is the proof that it's yours? Where is the proof it's not Grant? All you showed was a domain. It's not enough. At this point, I think that to all, Grant is the owner until proven otherwise. Now, if Grant was smart, he would go and copyright and grab the proper documents to say he is the owner of it or he will run into the same issue. Just because a email was sent saying you are now the owner, does not give you the full rights yet or at least in the eyes of the law. One will be able to dispute such claims in court, however, who has the money and time for that? So back to this, I think this thread is useless and would need more information/support/evidence/anything really to support the claim.
  7. Well we might of not talked much, but I appreciate the comment and wish you the best in life. Hopefully, you get to continue on a career path of which you actually find enjoying. Keep it strong
  8. So why did you wait to now to say something?....
  9. He has already stated on the first page that he bought the script....
  10. It's not a huge necessary trait to have, however, I feel like these two subjects have a huge impact on how well you can grasp and improve ones' programming skills. Math provides you with the flexibility to understand formulas and how things combine together can come together, even if it doesn't deal with numbers. As for designing, you might not need to be a designer, however, having the ability to see a picture in your head makes it easier to organize ones' code and create a product more efficiently. These do not limit you, but do help you.
  11. Sorry, but I highly doubt that. That site is screaming GRPG. Even the bars at top are the same as the old engine.
  12. A couple of things: - There is too much scrolling involved. Every time I want to do something, I have to scroll a lot. That is a big turn off for me. - It's not a bad thing to go simple with the template, however, it is just plain and gray with a lot of dark outer glow. Not a fan. - The menu is too long, back to the first point, you have to scroll a lot to get to a link you want. - Don't see anything unique with the game that would make me want to play it from others. - Some pages don't work, i.e Chat. If you are working on it then you either, 1, remove the link or, 2, add in a coming soon on the page. - Your template messes up when you shrink the width of the page/browser. Well those are some things. I wish you the best of luck. Regards, Pete
  13. He charges about 400$ for a template design without coding. Illustrations can start at 200$ and mascots about 100$. He is pretty good designer, I like him a lot. However, as mention before, you will have to be able to sign a contract and mail it to him. Plus, he doesn't take PayPal.
  14. High Score saving doesn't work
  15. Website to show? Or is it just contact you style format?
  16. A couple of things: - Right away, it seems a little too plain. Just a couple of colors and no direction. - The text at the top seems very squished.(Especially for the top text, you might want to try a line-height of 18-20px) - I feel like this sort of set-up, you need a menu that follows you down as you scroll, so people don't get lost. (I personally am not a fan of this type of templates though, just in my honest opinion) - You definitely want more padding from the text at the top , near the border on the right. - Not 100% sure why the title is padded like 100px from the left and then the text is padded barely nothing on the right? Here are just a couple of things I noticed right away.
  17. In my honest opinion, there are a couple of issues. 1) There are no tones throughout the design. Just a couple of solid colors which are used repeatedly. 2) Outer Glow and Drop Shadow are okay to use, but I feel like on white background (gray in this example) can be off putting if not done right and so has to feel like there is a purpose for it. In these templates, it just seems like they were done for the extra effect. 3) A lot of the objects are big and over sized. I tend to like things clean and sleek. 4) There is no alignment in the design. Some things are centered, while others are aligned to the left side. (IE. Other product boxes and then the content). You want to make sure they are aligned. 5) Not a fan of the colors used in the first one. Yellow/Orange/Brow could look nice, but they seem so flat and screaming at me. Hopefully that helps. Good luck Here is a design I just did recently: http://oi39.tinypic.com/9kx8jd.jpg
  18. Available again for more work. Best way to contact me is through my Skype id, pleaman05. Regards, Pete
  19. Well delusional, where I was just basically sleeping with my eyes open haha It did not work out so well. Slept for a whole day haha
  20. Well I wish you the best on the project, however, for not sleeping. I went 3 days before. I got real loopy.
  21. I can do the PSD and xHTML/CSS for 85$ total.
  22. Yep, I figured that out within the first couple of minutes as I was curious how they did the import and export saving files. A waste after you realize that. Though could be a fun app, if you touched it up a little bit.
  23. 50,000 * 2^(rank-1)
  24. Someone actually bought the GRPG engine. I forget the person's name, but it was announced on here and the previous owner even came on and posted for assurance. EDIT: Grant owns it actually. This can be found here: http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/43008-theGRPG-will-be-back
  25. Nothing truly unique or different here. Plus the female chick is so out of place that I keep thinking it's a pimp/porn game instead of a mafia game. Finally, the bottom just seems like it is thrown in there. No format involved.
