  1. Hmmmmm.... Well, most of the images on there seems like they were just taken from somewhere else. Using images from stock photos is not an issue, i do this with some of my designs. The problem is that most of the images on there looks like they were just taken from somewhere else and not saved properly (IE, the menu bars have a black background which tends to happen when you copy an image with a transparent background instead of saving it). Plus, you can see throughout the design there are parts trying to be hidden by pasting over it. I would give the design a little more thought and time. Try to create some of the stuff by hand instead of just copying them. Really lost with the ipod jut being thrown on there. If it was a hacker game, it would make a little more sense. Focus on positioning. For example, the stat bars are just thrown on there instead of organized and spaced equally. Overall the template doesn't feel balance. These are just few pointers. As mention focus on spacing and making sure the template flows as one.
  2. No point in trying to force a game name without a story plot...
  3. Well what is the story of the game?
  4. As a tip, when learning, it will be nice to learn css as well, which has components to what you are doing already. I think it would be great practice to learn those two languages at the same time. Learn to create a file for just your css, so that the actual html file doesn't get bogged down with all the 'font-family'. By using CSS/Classes/Id, you will create a more efficient and organized file. IE, the style for the '<li> could have a class attached to it. Within your css file you can call it '.listing', which will contain all your 'styles'. Then in the html file, you will only have to write '<li class="listing">' and it will output the proper style for you. Now, my explanation is not the greatest, I don't lead people to believe I am a teacher, but hopefully you can grasp the idea and look into it. Definitely will help out in the long run. Plus, as a final note, I would not go around saying 'I have mastered ....', if you think you have mastered a certain language will you ever push to learn more of it? There are much much much more, even to HTML, than what meets the eye.
  5. It is a forum. If you post something then you should expect any type of response, good or bad.
  6. Yes, you are. You don't understand that 'Warz' is not a real word at all, even if you 'meant' it to be. People use a 'z' at the end of their game name once they given up and can't figure out any other name. It is cheap and everytime I see it used like that, a.k.a. misspelled, I tend to just ignore the site completely.
  7. First impressions: - No creativity in name. It is misspelled for goodness sake! I, and I know many others, will never take a game serious when it is misspelled due to lack of creativity. - Features sound like most of the mccode style games out there. So you will truly have to come up with something unique to make them different, but based on your game name I highly doubt that will happen. - None of the features mention make me think of a 'pimp' game. Just sounds like you found all these free mods on the forum and decided to use them. Have a thought out story line with a true reason and not just a generic plot like most mccode style games have.
  8. Far from it.
  9. Word of advice, and this will now be considered flaming, but if you are going to 'trash talk', make sure your spelling and grammar is somewhat correct or it just looks ridiculous.
  10. No, I will still criticize. It is fine you want to do it for fun, but you better make a disclaimer that the developer has full access to give credit to anyone they want for 'fun'. Would be awful for a random player to come on, put money and time into a game without realizing that very important FACT.You might see it as fun, but other people, like the players, take games very seriously.
  11. That is one of the worst perks out there. So you are basically screwing over any other game player who is trying to rank up the right away, you will just let someone come in and credit whoever they wanted? That is ridiculous and poor business ethics.
  12. There seems to be something missing, I see a blank spot right before the Unix-Timestamp.
  13. Never mind can't really read on this phone.
  14. It isn't bad, but very very simple. Hard to give a true feedback when it is basically one box style repeated twice at different widths. Maybe style it up and add the menus/profile info/headers/etc and then a more detail review can be made.
  15. It is free and was released as an open source.
  16. Thanks guys! You mean the cut-out of the singers? Yeah, I was rushed on this. If I had more time I would of loved to go further in cropping them up, however I only had like 2-3 hours to produce this. The client is one of those type of people, "ASAP". Regards, Pete
  17. So, I been getting hired a lot now for some local events and been doing a lot work for a Hookah Lounge which will be hosting the winner of Arabic's version of 'American Idol'. They hired me to do the designs for the upcoming event that will be hosting around 1,000 people. They were looking for a simple business black/tie style design, while not getting away from the festival side of it. https://scontent-a-ord.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-prn2/t1.0-9/1557706_10202038433343113_1441661893_n.jpg Let me know what you think, negative or positive. Negative always works for me, makes me perfect it for the client. Thanks, Pete
  18. But there is nothing unique about it? If I recall, you been only working on this for 2-3 weeks now? Put in more time. Nothing is that easy. If you truly want to be taken serious, work on the game a couple of months as you learn how to program, develop unique features, get a template that makes sense to the theme and not some generic style that 1,000 games have. Everyone here are basically designers and programmers, very few of them will take the time to bug test a game, especially one that looks like it is straight out of the box.
  19. As the designer of this template, I can provide evidence that he does have ownership of it. Good luck with the sales and thanks for the comments on the design.
  20. Redo the whole site? How are we suppose to assess what is going wrong unless we either see your code or get a better picture of what it is stopping the script. You won't have to redo the whole site, that is nonsense. We aren't Gods though, we can't see what you wrote or what is on your site.
  21. This looks exactly like every cron panel I have seen. What is confusing about it?
  22. <a href="http://pokemonhell.forumsmotion.com" target="_blank">Angry Man's Forum</a>
  23. No, Mike kept saying he would, but never did. Mike didn't even have CPanel access...
  24. I am sure if this is true, then it won't be an issue to get the response from the guy again. When I say 'guy', I mean Jay-C and not Mike. Mike doesn't own any rights to the graphics or codes, they were Jay-C's. Mike tried to contact me as well to try and use the template, saying how we should just steal it and get our own up, of course I denied this offer knowing too well that he doesn't have the rights, nor do I have the right to steal someone else's work.
  25. Yeah I know. I just don't get how you can try to sell something as yours in such a small community and think you can get away with it. He tried to use the 'I didn't know', when I told him on Skype and knows he can't use it. Oh well, old habits die hard I guess the saying is.
