Sim Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I been trying to get motivated to code on this new laptop, but the mouse doesn't move fast enough for me to get things done as fast I should so I prefer a desktop. Quote
bluegman991 Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I code on my laptop. You do know that you can change the speed of your mouse though right? Quote
Sim Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 I do. I still have control issue's over the mouse though. Quote
oxidati0n Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I've used a desktop for years, but now, with my new laptop, I'm convinced the laptop does it for me. :) Quote
Dave Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 I'm still using my Desktop. Have been for years never favored laptops. Quote
Nickson Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Laptop ... but I do have a numpad on it as well, which helps when you've got an azerty keyboard >.> Speed is about the same, but with a laptop I can carry around everything to everywhere. You can easily hook up an external mouse & keyboard when/where needed/possible Quote
a_bertrand Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Desktop and by far the best solution for me. As a 30'' screen and 8Gb ram plus 3 HDD don't fit all that well in a laptop. However I do have a laptop for when I need to do presentations. Quote
Dayo Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 i mainly use my computer purly for the two screens (soon to be 3). But when im out and about i use my laptop. Oh and i use a 1TB external HDD for all my data so i can easily switch between the two. Quote
W3Theory || Peter Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I been using my laptop since I started, so I checked laptop. However, I am moving over to a desktop after I make a couple of other purchases. Quote
Lithium Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 What is a Desktop? (before you explain, this IS a retorical question) I haven't used one of those in... 10 years. Quote
