Lilith
There are many topics that allow us to recommend / present someone's work they have done well. As a new member of MWG, I have little knowledge of who is LEAST likely to be helpful. I would suggest a hall of shame threat where members can post their negative experiences working with another member. There should be rules about how to post similar to: 1. Name of offending party 2. known aliases 3. how they offended 4. evidence / screenshots supporting this. Reply posting should be limited to adding more evidence either supporting or negating the accusation. Just a thought to help new members choose who to work with without being scammed. Dominion
i think its a good idea if everyone acts right else 1/2 the posts would be spam
The Spirit
Can you add a poll to this Lilith? Then people can actually vote :)
Paul Evans
They will never do this due to the spam and the flaming, but not a bad idea IMO
rulerofzu
Good idea. Best way for it to work would be the offender is submitted to a moderator with the evidence. Then the moderator makes the post locking it immediately to stop any further spam etc. Offender can then also submit a reply etc. Lots of work for the moderators though. Nickson
I would say it's a pretty good idea.. but it will come with problems as well. What about some sort of reputation system?
Dominion
karma was abused like hell when it was still ce anything like this would be but i think its better to have it there as a safeguard
Nickson
I'm not saying you should just introduce something without making any adjustments to it :p
srachit
I used to play a game earlier which also had WBB as their forum engine. They had a nice system of making suggestions where you went to the sub-forum for suggestions and made your topic, but it wouldnt get posted up immeidiatly but be hidden. Then when a moderator was around he would go through the posts and see which is spam, which is repeat and which is geniune and only make the geniune one's available to viewing to public. If we could implement the same system here it could prove effective.

Lilith
Thank You for assisting us in knowing who we are working with and by default accepting the responsibility of the extra work. To the members of MWG, Please do not abuse this as it can just as easily be taken away.
