These forums going down the toilet
ColdBlooded replied to chicka's topic in Feedback and Site Support
Reviewing the current issues (spam, lack of activity (things to talk about)) and rectifying it. Not concerned in investing any capital in the advertising account personally at this point. -
I couldn't care less about its history. Inflated economy providing it's a v2 based game, providing nothing was done to maintain the economy, providing few addicted users with big wallets played the game? Show us its potential.. go on, elaborate my friend. Broader things for owners to think about other than its initial 1 month profit.

These forums going down the toilet
ColdBlooded replied to chicka's topic in Feedback and Site Support
It's not like we don't care about this site. It is simply the time critical issue at the end of the day for the owners Dabomstew and myself. I do lurk and read around this site a lot in spare time (Between class, work, in traffic and personal time at home). When it comes to investing effort to expand the forum (by means of new Forum boards to simulate activity, upgrades in systems etc), I am unable to due to lack of time during the day. We never stop any moderator or admin on this site from doing what they want because we know they will do things in the best interest of the community. However, I agree with you Dom about the leaders (being the owners, Dabomstew and I) being off scene 80% of the time. I understand. I am looking into getting a new management person to focus on that kind of things. However, this forum doesn't make $ and people don't invest their time for free. I shall do my best to sort something out in that department. Please note: We are not looking to sell this site. Valid point nevertheless. Thank you for voicing that out. -
Thank you for those words Hedge, appreciated.

We can downgrade your v2.5 to v2 (I can do this for you) or, file a support ticket at mccodes.com. However, your $20 surplus won't be refunded. Instead this $20 will be credited to you mccodes.com client account marketplace balance which you can use to buy modules on the marketplace. Thanks.

Collaborators towards the v3 engine
ColdBlooded replied to ColdBlooded's topic in MCCode v3 Discussion
Cheers guys. We are looking for someone who can shoot tutorial videos (screen video record + voice) of the v3 engine. Previous experience and examples would be great. Cannot have Australian accent. Easily understandable and clear voice. Must know the concept of browser based mmorpgs inside out. You will be required to demonstrate: 1) Functionality (example: Template system inside the adminCP system. The entire core adminCP (broke down in little standalone videos)). 2) Code demonstration (how to build your own module (essential steps, using CRUD and other programming concepts)). 3) How to build for facebook 4) How to build for Android and iOS 5) How to submit to google play and app store. 6) much more I'm sure.. Voluntarily job. Benefits may be rewarded later on. We will teach you on how things operate before you begin shooting. We will actively help you answer questions about things. Your job will be to compile everything and demonstrate it in the video. Message me here or email [email protected] if interested. Enclose your previous work :) -
Collaborators towards the v3 engine

Sniko's the boss -
To speed up the progress, enhance the ideas and innovation as well driving team motivational work, we have decided to welcome Harry (Alias Sniko) and David (Alias: Dave) into the development team of MCCode engine v3 (which has been in development for [i lost count] number of years). There are now 4 of us working on the v3 engine (Dabomstew, David, Harry and myself). We are all independent developers and do this because we love it. Let the fun begin!

What Engine matches my needs most in your opinion?
ColdBlooded replied to espe's topic in Game Projects
I would suggest mccode v2 without any hesitation =p -
The latest release versions shouldn't be vulnerable.

The health bars need work, needs to be themed correctly with background and header incorporation. Footer looks rubbish. Needs to be more part of the body of the template too. Pad more rocks on fire on to it should do it fine imo. Header, banner/name text style is neat. Font/titles could be enhanced further. Cheers,.

MCCodes v2 patch updates. Latest ver: v2.0.5b
ColdBlooded replied to ColdBlooded's topic in Announcements
Absolutely. We'll push out the fix (patch) within 7 business days. PM me. I'd greatly appreciate it. -
Interesting game. Saw some addictive-like features ingame which could addict players to coming back pretty frequently. Keep it up.

That file has been patched in v1.1.0b. There should be no security flaws with blacklist.php anymore.

I love the thunder. Edit: and the voice over hahah.

In installer.php - enter in correct details for your database. Database name, host (usuall localhost), database user name and database user's password. Contact mccodes.com support if you want a quick IM/over-the-phone support. Cheers.

Personalized game dev forum on this board for license holders sounds good. But, how much value will it give the forum holder? How will they use it to benefit their game? Why not just use the general engine owner boards as is? Wow that's freaky, its been happening to me too for last 2 days. No clue whats wrong at the moment. Cheers

I understand. Thank you for your efforts so far.
