Unfortunately, I do not have Skype. I will try to download it, but my internet connection may make that quite a process. Once done, I will contact you. Thanks for the offer.

I have a pet mod I'm working on. I know what you're thinking. "Pets don't fit mafia games" and all that. To be honest, I think this one will. Why? Well, glad you asked. Some key features: ----- Ability to leash your pet to help in attacks ----- Ability to train your pet's stats (The higher the stats, the more the pet adds to the user's stats during an attack) ----- Pet vendor where the user can purchase a pet (Seems obvious, I know) ----- Pet trainer to train your pet's stats (Again, see above note) ----- Pet levels with their own leveling function ----- Pet globals file which organizes every used function and variable in one place for easy editing ----- Each user can only own one pet ----- Comes with 10 pre-created pet types and 5 pre-created leashes (Easy to change/not use/add on to) And here's the real kicker, which makes this a dream for the MC coder... ----- Not a SINGLE addition to the users table Also, I will be periodically releasing add-ons, both free and paid, in the future. Upon completion, I will be selling this mod for $10. Personally, I feel this is a steal when considering the amount of time I've put into this, as well as the range of desirable features from both a coder's and a player's point of view. I have everything completed with the exception of two frustrating, yet likely very easily fixed, kinks. Number One - When listing the pets and leashes on the vendor page, it will not show ID 1 on either the leashes nor the pet types. I've tried adding all manner of things into the SELECT/ORDER BY statement to no avail. Number Two - I am just not getting $_GET and $_POST at all. For some reason, it's usage is beyond me. Either can I seem to work making the purchase without using either. I know, I know, it's probably not rocket science. And yet, I'm stuck. As an example, on the vendor page, when you click purchase on anything listed, it asks you if you really want to purchase Spot (name of the first pet) and that's all. It will not select the different names/ID's/such like that. Not to mention, the query doesn't work. It does not update the pets table. The first is a moderate problem. The second is a major problem. I am looking for someone to help guide me through these issues. Note, I said guide. I do not wish to be spoon-fed. Though, a quick explanation of why my vendor page is not displaying properly would be appreciated. You're welcome to see the ORDER BY statement if you need it. As for the second problem, perhaps just some simple to understand examples of $_GET and $_POST. (If you're just going to say "php.net" or "w3schools," please don't bother. I've checked both. It's obviously not helping. Now, as this is a paid mod, I would appreciate someone who is established as a trustworthy coder around here. I have browsed quite a bit of posts, so do not think I don't know what this means. I cannot offer much compensation, though you would be welcome to a free copy of this mod upon completion if you so desired. Not to mention my respect and appreciation. (Those are worth something, right? :P) Anywho. Please PM me if you're interested and have the time to help. Also, I would love some feedback about the features of the mod itself within this thread. Appreciate you taking the time to read my ridiculous paragraph. Cheers.

Change $blah=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM users WHERE userid=$user",$c); To $blah=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM users WHERE userid=$userid",$c);

I have a few problems with the marketplace, so I'd like to just comment on a few things. First off, I continue to not receive e-mails regarding the status of my mods. I don't know if they're approved, declined, how much longer I should wait, or what. Secondly, in regards to the wait time, the site states 1-2 days. It took over a week for my V2 conversion of my mission mod to show up for purchase. Again, with none of the e-mails I was told I should receive. Third, it's obvious these "resellers" aren't subject to the same scrutiny of bug checks. Explain why that is. Why do they get the right to make money FASTER than the rest of us? Their mods are up within, what, minutes? And the rest of us have to wait a week or so? If you're too busy to check the mods right away, change your process. Add a "Report Broken Mod" button or something. Finally, why do I need to wait AGAIN just to edit the price on my mod? Is it because you, for some reason, require a RE-UPLOAD even when trying to make one simple edit? Tell me why that's even necessary. And another thing I almost forgot. V1 of my mod was on the marketplace. Then, as soon as the V2 of it was approved, the V1 disappeared. Why? It was already approved and on the market. As I didn't change anything, there's no reason it should have been taken down. Again, no e-mail or communication explaining this. In my opinion, it's kind of a broken system, and I do not believe it was very well thought out. I don't mind the 10% fee simply because it's automatic, and I'm not constantly having to send new copies to new people. I do wish the rest of these issues would be looked into, though. I've definitely been discouraged from using the marketplace for now.

That's a hefty assumption...

On a side note, still not getting e-mails about if a mod is approved or has errors. It would be nice to know if I need to re-upload or what. It seems everyone else can get theirs up no problem, while mine just get left in the wind.

250% though? You think that's a bit overkill? -
Ajax Cart Donation System $15.00 on McCodes Marketplace!

Kudos for lowering the price, unlike some people. I've heard this is a great mod. -
My opinion of you is based off what I have seen, myself, and nothing else. Obviously, those are very specific circumstances, so I cannot say you're always like that. But seeing you reply "Use the search" on every other post is just kind of rude. Especially when there's a good chance the one asking has already done so. For you to assume otherwise is wrong on your part. If you wish to help, help. If not, just don't reply. It's simple. And, are the sweat shop laborers different? Absolutely. They are being forced, or have no other choice. If someone asks for a $5 job, it's entirely up to everyone else if they want to take it on or not. It's not taking advantage to ask PUBLICLY. Maybe the one taking it on doesn't really care about the money. Maybe they have a lower quality of work. Who knows? It's their choice. Being their choice makes it neither wrong nor right. It's just their CHOICE. It's not like the requester is holding a gun to their head. Now, someone asking what they could get for a quality piece and everyone lowballing them so they don't have to pay as much IS different. It's an evaluation of the coder's work. It should be given honestly.

First off, from the reading I've done around here and the replies I've seen, I have to agree with Dawg in some respect. You are on a bit of a high horse sometimes, RoZ. As far as working for $5... It's almost inevitable, as everyone likes to chime in with their "That's not worth $xx" or "Why pay that much?." I remember reading SRB's post that said to never compromise on your price. Only *I* know how much time I really put into something and *I* know what it's worth to me. I price based on guidelines *I* set. In any case, asking for something to be done for cheap is everyone's right. Just as choosing not to do it if you think it's too cheap is your right. Creating a whole thread about it is ludicrous. It's not constructive, and it certainly does nothing for the community, except, again, put you up on your high horse.

As far as I know, when dodger hopped on and made a test purchase (Still didn't work, by the way. :P) it refunded the full dollar afterwards.

EDIT: Version 2 has been submitted for approval! Assuming I've done the conversion correctly, and I think I have, it should be listed in the MCCodes.com marketplace within the next couple days.

Yep, that's the plan. Just have to wait a few more days for the only person I know who will do it. Oh well. It's been like almost two weeks. What's another few days?

I have a login/register I created in GIMP. Can be saved as a PSD if needed. I need it coded, as I have no idea how to do so. It would need to be a fixed width matching it's current dimensions, with a repeating background, and the banner sitting directly on top. If you also happen to know how to work with Lightbox, I would also like two screen shots included. Budget is negotiable, so PM me to see it and we can work out a price.
-
Look at it this way. He got people posting on it, again. :P
-
I don't really get it, anyway. I'm 90% sure it used to let you pay yourself. I'm almost completely certain I tested something a long while back by doing so.

Cheap $5 ad spots on Game Top List [3,321 visits last week]
Seker replied to Arson's topic in Advertising offers
Worst case, I think a screenshot of the stats should work. -
No problem. I wasn't in a hurry. It's been taken care of now, thanks. :)

I'll shoot myself in the foot if the problem was me trying to use Sandbox. Now I just need to find a way to test it, as PayPal refuses to let me pay myself. Erg.

I see what happened. My primary email on my paypal isn't the right one. I did submit a support ticket, though. Check that and it tells you what I want. (Name on it is Andrew). Holy crapping crap. I wonder if this is why I'm having that IPN problem... If nothing else, MCCodes, thank you for helping me figure THAT out!

While I'm waiting, though, I'm curious as to how difficult it is to update from V1 to V2. I know about changing the header info and the queries (And I know that part's not even necessary) but what about anything referencing items? What about SQL tables? Is it a major process?

I have received no such contact message, either through e-mail or MCCodes.com support. My purchase date was April 10th. :/

This mod gives your users a daily attacking mission. Their mission level is based off of their level. As their mission level gets higher, so do the requirements for completing the mission. Each day they complete their mission, they gain one Mission Marker. These Markers can then be traded for a reward of cash or crystals. All requirements and rewards are easily customize-able to fit your game's economy. Includes: 1 SQL file 1 modification to attack.php 4 PHP files Installation Instructions Screenshots: Can be purchased from the MCCodes.com Marketplace at: Daily Mission Mod PM all support to me here or send to . Will also be posting V2 copy tomorrow.

No way that's a $25 theme. If it is, you got royally ripped.
