The most problems people have that did not study php or mysql, is their lack knowing to create a database, happens all the time, first thing you have to do is create a database because you need that to install, and save your info to it to your computer, or write it down.
-
Thought Lite has instructions?? Anyways it is simple to install, but before i state how first thing i need to know, do you know what a database is, and where to find it on your hosting? If you answer NO, I can't be bothered to help, perhaps read up on mysql first before attempting such installation.

Here is a link may help you... http://css-tricks.com/almanac/properties/w/whitespace/

Maybe try this hack, some said it worked for them.. http://andrewblock.net/2010/02/23/enable-remote-desktop-on-windows-7-home-premium-64-32-bit/

Why LOL? Is it not secured from SQL Injections?? other then the queries selects everything in the table instead of the fields needed only??? I've looked it through looked secured to me against sql injection unless i missing something, that maybe you can shed some light on lol.
-
V1 can be recoded the queries, but other then that it is pretty much secured.

Here is a simple way to defeat hackers - Don't use the internet period, and if you happen to, don't use any of your personal information, and do not do banking online, do banking the old way go in person, and do shopping the old way too... As for the article, I use the method have yet been hack... When my secret security question is "What is your favorite color?" I reply with something totally off a color such as example: THEZOO#05438ANIMAL .... I never answer them with a correct answer... However this does not stop a hacker from hacking, eventually your password gets cracked. And watch out for those insecure sites whom do not use security on their passwords or site, I've came across a couple like so, I refuse to do any business with them.

To be honest- I will never change my mind about mccodes, but the engine was never mccodes to start with it was a script taken then reproduced then later re wrote up, then it was the community on here that fixed the security of it and found the flaws... to fitting the bill to this forum YOU should!! I think you owe that much to these members, you did bank off on what they fixed did you not???
-
Just put like this - I can do the same thing mccodes is doing then.. - make up a site, if you will mccodesfreemods.com and refer all of them from here to there?? Mccodes and MWG will freak about it if I do I am betting, and this is when you people at mccodes will realize what copyright exactly means even when referring a link, without proper communication between the mod creator /owner of it. You have said over and over that MWG is not associated with mccodes.com, but yet that is really contradicting, when you link mods from here on your page and have the tab be called "Marketplace" ..That in it's own speaks for itself... Have respect for the community members and advise them one on one that their mod is being refereed on mccodes.com that can be like slandering ones work, where the mod creator/owner dislikes mccodes professionalism or ethics, (which mccodes should respect)... I for one don't mind it, however I do not like how it was done, and no one mailed me, I do not check mccodes.com site regularly, and the announcements on there I never have read, I checked that site once, then used it to report a few games, that is the only use I had for it... I have not seen no announcement of them referring until a member on here made this thread. Because I come on here to help people, that is what this community is for, not to rip someones work off and then refer it to their site, to make that site look better, when it may of been going to chits before the referring links were put up....Just saying... It could be a tactic to get more profits by linking and this part of it mccodes do not see or care what those copyright owners to the mods are trying to get at, they just want to disrespect their efforts on here, and claim referring their mods on their website...
-
In the referral table add Level... then make a cron or timestamp and execute it I would say every hour, make a query of the referral table and the field level of that user, then execute a query to update the level field when user is level 10. then make an if statement if (level =>10){execute Update user with whatever it is the prize is.... Not real hard to do...
-
If they are easily to sell out their community members then why not sell it or delete it, pretty bad these people come on here for the community then they have their mods linked to mccodes site as referrals and then they didn't even care to ask those people about referring their mods... That is like me copying this whole forum in a click and moving it over to another site... Still a copyright and you should respect it, you people at mccodes are always whining about copyrights but yet you don't care about other people's work or copyright... It does not amuse me because you don't want to get me started about mccodes.. that's another story!!
-
I don't blame you one bit for wanting to leave... It's sad that no one was informed personally, they should have at least mailed the person, work was put into these mods they referred onto mccodes, and they should have asked the owner of them to have them referred, and they want you to play a guessing game when they make an announcement?? No one checks mccodes.com for announcements, was any even made on this forum of this??

I've used the CSS part, by uploading text fonts the user can choose from then the option to style it... I have not used the javascript part though, not good with javascript. The concept is much easier and better i think.

I seen year1920.com for over year floating around on here and yet when you go to the link it's still being "coming soon.." on it if it has taken 8 moths that 8 months is well over due so why is it not a functioning game now?! Topic made back in May of the 23rd 2011 http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/39420-Web-Programmer-for-Hire-Need?highlight=year1920 It is Nov 5th 2012! and your saying 8 months?
-
@rulerofzu He didn't state it takes 3 weeks, he stated he has spent 3 weeks planning and still NOT finished. Meaning it takes longer time frame. To me not even a year would touch it longer for me, but that is if your starting from scratch and not using any engine that is premade.
-
Look at Diesl's thread http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/39356-Pagination-Function?highlight=pagination You would need to do some edits though to fit your shops...
-
First- open up your database, and click gComments table, then if anything was submitted it would have a "browse" tab option if it does click that tab, look and see if the fields are submitting into the table... If one is empty then it is your INSERT query giving you a problem which then you need to go to the comments.php and look through the page and see what is causing the problem, or simply copy and paste what you have, and also what you have on your profile page would also help. If the fields are not empty in your database then it could be a $var typed out wrong. Also look in your error page, could also indicate what the problem is your having.

2000 emails? exaggerate much? You don't even have that many on your game, maybe 2 that are active, but nothing near 2,000 and all your players on page 2 are generated names from a hack, and half of page 1 is too... Anyways shutting down on a holiday when your game is the general mccode engine is stupid... And when you do have a "game" and not an engine it would still be stupid to shut a game down, your most earned profit comes from a holiday that is if you offer any holiday events...

@Andy - Make sure you are reading the scammer threads on here, be cautions who you do business with, some may tell you a price that is cheap, to only get access and steal your files, it's happened on here... So do your research first on that person whom you hire, if they are from this forum - Danny has a list made http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/39952-My-list-of-trusted-coders
-
This mod maybe easy to a programmer to code, however it's a decent price for those that do not code or even bother which there are many on here that don't... Not a bad mod, I have seen it on here before but not given out freely- to me it is an easy mod to create, it's used on quite a couple of games I've seen, and a lot of players like the mod and it's a profit mod also. So the buyer will make back his $15 fast!!

I want some runes to cast :P Anyhow sorry to be off topic, I'm sure you spell Rules that way to get me to comment, from prior thread of Raven's ;) Good luck on your hosting!!
-
He said it was from typing from his phone though that is no reason to be stupid in spelling!! He's been doing it from the time he registered and many have told him even the admin so :P
-
Ok this is getting beyond a joke... Either spell correctly and make it readable, or do not post at all!! I may sound harsh, but your whole topic made no sense at all, and you have been doing this since you have registered your account on here. If you can not type due to being on a phone, please wait until you are at a computer with a keyboard... You can not be that stupid at spelling and grammar, can you?!
-
To be honest it looks very similar to mccodes the coding, just extra long name vars only difference I see between the two...

x10hosting good for testing, but should use xampp which ever... If your a novice you should know where to upload it and place the script lol...
