I prefer namecheap.com, once you buy it, you can set the name servers to: ns1.makeweb.games ns2.makeweb.games If you let me know the domain name I'll update that hosting to use the domain
-
No need to do that, they’ve been suspended and informed. They’ll remain suspended while we conduct our investigation. I’d highly suggest buying a domain to avoid this in future
-
Yes the request is already in with Google once they review it they will remove the restriction.
-
Someone hosted a phishing site on their hosting. They’ve been suspended. This only impacts people using free sub domains. Anyone with their own domain won’t have this issue.

Yeah I remember, to deal with the blacklist we have to go through and manage all instances of malware, and AV tools aren't perfect. Installing a better tool now to automate this. We detected some malicious scripts on a few accounts which we've since removed and improved the servers AV. We will message Google to get this removed: We have submitted the appeal.

Your site had malware on it, please open a Support Center ticket so we can determine whom was responsible.

It seems like someone has reported makeweb.games as a suspicious URL, I'll be looking into it and getting it unblacklisted.
-
Funny to see this come back around again. I can confirm I did sell this to MNG.
-
Do you have a live demo of the game? 🙂
-
Sounds like you found the optimizations you needed, always be mindful of what operations you complete inside of for or foreach loops.
-
I run a successful game which was originally on GRPG at https://prisonstruggle.com/. The amount of work on it has resulted in it becoming its own framework.
-
I think you would struggle to attract a good front-end developer if you're only willing to share 20% of the game, and $40 a month. Most good front-end developers would be $50+ an hour, if not more, I also find it harder to believe the front-end part is only 20% of the work. Great back-end with god awful front-end makes the back-end awful too. If you want a game to succeed you need to invest appropriately, I would suggest working out a fairer cut for the front-end aspect of this. Also for a game to be successful you need more than just developers, graphics, UX, illustrations, marketing, story writing and much more are required to make a great game.

This post is a few years old now, unsure how active this member is.

It sounds like your work needs a better networking person. If you IP changes while logged in, it's assumed something has changed with your session via cPanel. This isn't something we can configure or fix. It's a security measure.
-
I've responded to your DMs and resolved your two issues. For official support in future please open Support Center tickets, as I do not guarantee responses to DM's on here: https://makewebgames.io/support/

This is standard IP protections to stop attacks on the cPanel back-end, this comes standard with cPanel. Do you experience the same issues on other cPanel hosts? Disconnecting and re-connecting from WiFi shouldn't change your public IP either, this sounds like a network issue on your end, or usage of a corporate VPN which is shuffling your IPs as you re-connect, not something we can fix.

As per my post @Dayo is here to help support. For getting official support you need to open a Support Center request and not DM me directly.

Feel free to ping me if you want some help with the JavaScript side of things, probably fairly easy to make it work in modern browsers.

I'm still here too, alive and kicking!

This is an awesome idea. I would love to see an open repository and contribute to it too.

Gotta shamelessly plug my game, Prison Struggle, we revived the game after acquiring it from its owner. We've made lots of modifications and improvements over the 2 years that we've led the game, including a mobile theme so you can play on the go. We have around 190 daily active players, and a vibrant thriving community. https://prisonstruggle.com/ - Register Now for Free!

Welcome back to the community, you certainly had a wide portfolio of mods for MCCodes 🙂

I'd like to give a warm welcome to @Dayo for officially joining the administrator team here at MWG. He previously was a moderator for his GL Engine, and after some discussion I've asked him to come onboard to help out with wider management and moderation of the MWG platform. As part of this I'll be stepping back and allowing Dayo to take ownership of operations of the forums, he's a staple member of the community and loves the whole world of PBBG's and more.

Forums as a concept kind of died and the original owners had moved onto different initiatives which meant the old MWG died. It had a big part in my life and my career so I was happy to take a loss and invest time in bringing it back. The community isn't what it was but what we have is still fun and worthwhile. @Dayo pretty much changed the face of the forum to utilize his engine and populate our Marketplace with a lot of cool modules for GL. Welcome back!
