ags_cs4 Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 hello MWG , i'm searching for a game engine like MCC & and something like TornCity to develop it , and i didnt like the NW and GRPG and GL and ezRPG so if you have tested a game engine so point it to me it dasnt mater i need just the basics functions like zap engine and i like it so i think i will remake it to a mafia game for the time begin so any one have a mafia or a simple engine give me its name or download link and thanks for the reading sorry for my bad english, im from algeria and i speak arabic and franch ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The owner - which used to be IceColdCola - does go on these boards, so (s)he may be able to assist you). Don't take it unless they guarantee security. It's the most insecure engine out there. lucky3809 Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) Do not buy the RC Engine(IceColdCola) it's crap and it's not really the new Torn clone, but the old Torncity clone, and there are many by the handful that spams with the link to their games that uses that engine, and ALL of the games are the same no uniqueness about it!! Coly010 Posted March 30, 2015 Share Posted March 30, 2015 Build your own, then you have full power of it, you can code only what you need, you'll be more familiar with the code and you get the added bonus that your game code is 100% unique. It's worth doing, especially if your looking for responsiveness. I find it very easy to develop on, and core security so far to date is very good. The biggest issue with MCC is its bloat, everything pretty much relies on the large users table and when people develop modules for it they always call every column from the table to just use 1 or 2 but I never really ran across it using a lot of resources except for Dave's ajax chat which a lot of free hosts don't like to see on their server.
