a_bertrand Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Next time post in the right section. I moved it once, next time I will delete all. It's for McCodes V1. Quote
Veramys Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Are you using the right command for running them? Are you using the file and the code for them? Can you give us anymore information than the fact that you "can't seem to get them working."? Quote
xRudeboiix Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 sorry a_bertrand, yes I can Ill take a screenshot. I think the command is wrong... Quote
Veramys Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 My commands have always been curl http://www.yoursite.com/cron_fivemins.php?code=codehere or something like that. What host are you using? Quote
xRudeboiix Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 how do I re make the crons if that's possible. cos when I put the game up it told me the code but I took no notice, is there a way to get it back? Quote
xRudeboiix Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 my host is localhost - x10hosting.com Quote
Script47 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 my host is localhost - x10hosting.com I don't get this, Is it localhost (127.0.0.1) or is it x10hosting.com which is an actual hosting site? Quote
Veramys Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 No it's not right and you're not supposed to post the code to us. it should be curl http://www.yoursite.com/yourfile.php?code=yourcodehere Quote
xRudeboiix Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 I use x10hosting.com to host my game. i am going to pm you veramis about something Quote
KyleMassacre Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 yeah you now need to change your code in config.php and also in your cron urls. but just so you know x10 doesn't let you do 1min crons on their free plans, and they put a limit on the amount of crons you can run a day Quote
Veramys Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 You'd be better off running the 1 and 5 minute crons as timestamps Quote
Magictallguy Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 You'd be better off running the 1 and 5 minute crons as timestamps Hour and day isn't a bad idea either ;) http://magictallguy.tk/mods.php?mod=20 Quote
Jason-x Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 you need to edit the cron line and change it to curl http://www.yourwebsite.com/cron_hour.php?code=5bbb8005fecdbe0aac1ad982c2c396cd Quote
