peterisgb
is there a way to stop users from refreshing on pages like crimes and gyms etc.
Dave
You could set some form of session/cookie and store it in the users table on the page before the "crime do" page. Then when a user selects to do a crime validate the session against the database. This would require users to visit the crime list page to complete a crime. mixmaster
Would easily bypassed by the user auto refreshing the crimes page a second or so before the crime do page
lucky3809
is there a way to stop users from refreshing on pages like crimes and gyms etc. You can add a 5 second time rule like some games have, when mail can be sent... don't see though why you would want no refreshing on crimes and gym, unless you are worried someone is using a bot. newttster
You could set it up so that the result of the crime is posted into a sesssion ... have a refresh set to 0 seconds where it echoes out the message as well as having a link that they have to click to go back to the crime and then unset the session. rulerofzu
Use a combination of session counting and captcha/macro So set a session increment it every refresh and when it hits a target reset the macro and they will only see the captcha
