  1. Any chance next discussion (sorry... thread) being about angels gender?   I believe i started this in the middle of some rant, and i am sure i told back then pre-incrementing was faster! ;)
  2. I do have HD's one, and let me say, honestly, HD's is a little more complete as you can also include your profile picture on the "card", the default look does look better on sniko's version though :)
  3. Despite the fact i don't understand a single word... SHOW OFF! :P :)
  4. Me included here!!! :)   Are you really? Naaaaa, hard to believe that sentence!!!! :)
  5. None of the above... and for that matter... games are a waste of time and money!
  6. Hmmm... no rants on the time its taking?
  7. Actually... resources wise, the first query is more efficient! one step to update all users second one... one step finds users where value applies, second step updates!
  8. And how long this awaiting was!!!! It was my last gaming experience back in 97 (Duke Nukem 3D)!
  9. Really? Funny how I have been delaying my own since early 2009. Yet that statement ought to be true if you had spare time to work on your side projects. Let's say you have a job that takes you 12-16 hours a day, 7 days a week, family to attend to, or even other priorities... 3 years does seem a lot? Don't think so!
  10. Nuff said!
  11. You still are! Mr. Badass(hole) ;)
  12. Couldn't agree more!   Actually... for all the years I've been around... the bashing is less and less everyday, it has become more noticeable as the amount of useful posts and user participation started to go downhill!
  13. /me looks to the past history of mccodes... ironic? no way! sad reality? FACT!
  14. how much would i pay... if that is your way to make business, i can give you a quick answer... 0
  15. I think i have told you earlier that for you to have an even half decent game it would take you a few month at least. Also having a flat standard mccodes game and requesting help/work the way you are doing, will only lead to a single outcome. IF you do want to have a successful game, either start opening your wallet and hire someone to help you, or do it yourself.
  16. It's his female side coming to top! :P
  17. Damn you ought to know me that well that you even know that you've been running "successful websites" since before i started programming! That said, you should once again follow my advice and shut up, as each time you try to say something "smart" you end up failing miserably!
  18. Actually, i do agree with you on this one. You are in fact a noob, as your "old" handle brought me memories of yet another script kiddie (just in case you wonder, yes i am talking about you) that used to go game after game, trying the known exploits. Funny how i recall you quite fine as you tried to "hack" a game of mine and you got banned on the spot and went crying like a baby to let you get in again! And you also say no one has ever seen you coding? That might be true as the looks of this post http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/39222-Oop-php which as it seems you claimed it as your own! You were shown as a fraud yet you still claim you are a pretty good coder. FFS shut up once and for all!
  19. SMS notification... that seems a Cronus paid mod! Contact him, or wait for him to reply, as you should not post the code!
  20. I know! I should've joined you in the circus! :)
  21. "Its the end of the world as we know it" (just in case you wonder why the above answer, quoting yourself: "Stupid questions" demand stupid answers)
  22. @ ColdBlooded: Your reply corrects as it seems some misconception around the fees Ian stated previously, but still, even them being at 10% i don't see the point to have them on marketplace as placing them in here would make a 100% income for the developer and not 90%, also, placing them here keeps the community on the right place, making it what always has been, despite the commonly low activity that has driven this forums for quite sometime now. Yet i still have no answer on the benefits to whoever uses the marketplace as the ones posted by "Ian" fall under a tree has they have no consistency! @Ian: Step down from your high horse, if you don't like negative comments, look at my signature. I am more than entitled to _DISLIKE_ and talk about that! If you do not have arguments to keep on a discussion, either negative/constructive/whateve!r, it's your problem, not mine. You say for me to get my facts right? Oh dear, it seems to me that you should learn how to read/interpret as i stated security towards the engine itself and in no place i referred the "site". I did refered the "mccodes team" as a whole, simply for the fact i don't know nor even could care less on who is who in it!
  23. if you have gzip... the exact same command you'd use on a linux box!
  24. Point a) Popularity? Don't make me laugh! MWG had and still has more popularity than MCcodes site will ever had, and looking for the past years, mccodes would've been literally dead if this forum never existed. Point b) Secured and verified, i can agree with the verified bit. As for the secured one... highly doubtful watching mccodes history and followed patches that never patched engines properly! There's something not in bold that makes me have a brief laughable moment, followed by a scary thought... “certified mccodes developers” what is this exactly? mccodes is plain PHP+ MySQL, so i don't see where a "certified mccodes developer" places amongst that. Recognized by the MCCodes team? Come on... with a total lack of updates/support in here from the MCCodes team for about 5 years, now you want to give some appreciation to whoever developed to it? Do it I say, not the way you are trying to do! As far as i see, MCCodes saw yet another opportunity to milk some extra cash with absolutely no effort out of the pocket of developers. Current mccodes mods market is way too low to even most of those who develop consider even to code a single line and you (team) think you are entitled to take 30% off of that? I ask you this... why would I give you, that gave me nothing in return nor will ever give me, 1/3 of my works earnings?
  25. Good enough!   Am i reading this as i should? 30%? Why should anyone give a fee of 1/3 of any modification? In exchange for what? What benefits do those 30% fee bring to whoever posts their work under that marketplace or even towards the community?
