The game isnt. I no longer had the time to put into it so it was left to run its course of which those that wanted to remain and play didnt mind. I have over the recent months returned to this type of gaming and whilst not looked into getting back into the coding side of things it would seem that the matter is being taken out of my hands and I am in discussion with some people at the moment. How is everyone?

In light of the recent post by Coldblooded which was to serve as a reminder that the owners of the forum expect the community to work on their behalf fixing their bug ridden security flawed engine without giving squat back to the MWG community I bid you farewall. Whilst there is other projects on MWG which I do support such as EzRPG, EzRPG Rework and NWE I cannot continue to be a member of this forum whilst it is still owned by McCodes.com to be frank their attitude towards this community is just take take take and give broken insecure slightly revamped code occassionally and are only ever really active on the forum when they plan to release a new version of their engine. Im sure some will be glad to see the back of me! Others can find me.

Ill take your reply CB as a refusal to remove the links as requested. Therefore I have removed the content instead. It confuses me to why you purchased MWG in the first place and why you still own it. Other than taking advantage of the new members that flow in who do not realize your lack of support or involvement on the forum. I would suggest you change the info on mccodes.com community page to show that you do not get involved in the community on MWG nor provide announcements, support , bug fixes, modules as per your reminder.

Maybe not so good for UK use though Skooda as they are based in Chicago 20 hops. Not bad though depends on the intended use.

I totally agree with Spudinski. At no point did a member of McCodes staff ask if it was ok to link my work on their website. Rather than make a different post requesting the same thing I also didnt agree to you using my name on your website and referring to my work. Did you try each stick of ram? No beeps or noises of any kind? If not then it could very well be your motherboard.

It could be something real simple like a dodgy vga lead. You dont have any other leads available? If your getting a beep with the ram , hd and cpu installed and can then hear the drive whirring into action then your system is booting. Test a single stick of ram in a different ram slot making sure that it is pressed in correctly.

The vga would be the on board graphics according to the pics provided.

Test each stick of ram at a time. Did you try without the graphics card installed? Do you get any beep from the motherboard on powerup. Can you hear anything happening ie sound of the hard drive ticking over?

Apart from the comment made in the IRC chat room where CB laughed saying that a patch had already been made but not released. I dont see "busy at university" as an excuse for no involvement on their own forum. So Cb, Dabs, Ian and Paul (possible freelance or part-time refuses to say) are all busy at Uni?

The code that I saw for the current v3 build they are better doing everyone a favour including themselves and scrapping it. It was a mess and they would be better off going back to the drawing board and starting over. Im not against a v3 they should develop their engine as they see fit.

All versions of unix are sexy but I didnt pay that much attention at 7:43am My point is.....there is many who do not use version control. Cannot use version control for whatever reason and have not even heard of version control so they tend to rely on control panel backups of their site and database. I was pointing out a quicker way to do it as more than likely they are on a server with a multi core and/or cpu available.

This was really directed to the 99% of MWG users who use shared hosting. Most can barely run crons never mind version control. I wouldnt want them to lose their stuff from lets say a hard drive fail.
