  1. £5,000 is more around the $8,000 mark. I would look into this kind of thing before paying for anything in USD.
  2. Dominion

    Birthday boy

Just means I get to comment on more of the thread with one post. :p
  3. Explore is just a page with links leading to the markets pages, userlist etc. Zap has something like it, but I can't remember the name. 2nd would be a much better solution. No programming may get people on side quicker, and those who would help will anyway.
  4. England's summer this year is rain. I don't think it's that. People are moving on over time. It happens. Only reason we are noticing it is the numbers are not compensating, and how long the ones who are leaving have been here for. Feel free to do a mini ad campaign ;)

I know i am late, but... happy birthday.
  6. Why is hiding/suppressing and error going to solve the problem? Sure the ugly thing will go away, but it's still going to be there just... hidden. Look into isset()
  7. Basic game engine should be more or less as you have said with some kind of hook system. So - - login, register, inside menu & layout. - home page for inside (showing money etc) - Some basic kind of currency; I suggest money rather than adding things like crystals as well - ability to change things in staff panel, including currency, game name, template, user info. - More generalized pages, player profile, userlist, staff list, something like an explore page, player preferences. Anything past this e.g. in game features should be add-ons. No default add-ons need to be installed, however there can be a mod pack with the following. 1) mail 2) attack 3) items 4) market (links into 3) Along with anything else people feel would make it a basic, but playable engine. This way you could download either the framework alone or a more basic start where you end up with features near a very dull, but playable game.
  8. As already said, they are not “missing” they are just mods a lot of games based off mccodes use. They have never been part of the base engine.   Yes, http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/39502-Tutorial-v2.0.3-v2.5-convertion
  9. Now because I feel it’s important that mccodes gets the user feedback, but at the same time agree with you, I have split the thread. The off topic parts can be found here
  10. This was split from http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/39594-Redux-attention-bits as we were all going off topic.
  11. No. V1 has a "there may be bugs" warning. Nothing is said on v2/2.5 unless there are terms and conditions you agree to before you buy now? Edit - when you buy - Of course this would never override your statutory rights.
  12. People taking it on, and trying to get refunds may be a kick in the a** for them. May even get it tested correctly.
  13. Dieser Beitrag ist von 2009. Warum würden Sie stoßen Sie es! Sorry für google übersetzt scheitern.
  14. I disagree with that. I think the main problem at the moment with mccodes is they need to start acting more professional rather than waiting for community fixes. When v1 came out no one pushed fixes for it, rather as bugs were found the users posted, and over time people started learning, adapting, and posting mods. The current community is not going to do this for a new version after so many years of doing it for themselves. There are too many other engines to have to fix up what you have. The market has grown.   ^ that.
  15. When they dump the items store the city they are in, and the change the query to only select the ones dumped where the user is. Seems like the quickest way if this works the way I imagine it does (not looked at it today).
  16. Security is not the main problem here, the things in the list are. You can have perfectly well secured programs that don't work the way they should.
  17. Nice list illusions, Rulerofzu and mixmaster.

  19. No. It's worth at least the mccodes license. It's worth two things 1) what they are willing to sell for 2) what someone is willing to pay People forget the site could come with a prepaid hosting account etc. no turnover does not mean worthless. Lack of time?
  20. Cyprus is part of the EU why do you consider the laws there any better then the US?
  21. They are also counting the licence in the $200.
  22. Many things are released with errors, the main problem here is the speed of the patch. Admittedly it's no where near as well tested as it should have been, however at least it's being fixed.
  23. Your site tells me nothing about you. I want to read your terms of service, privacy policy etc...
