    Almost thought this was about the two part tv-film I just recently watched. Thanks for this Spuds. :)
  2. Tehehehe. -toshort-
  3. @Skooda: Thanks man, much appreciated. @Illusions: Thanks, you old git. @mixmaster: Thanks pal. @SRB: You sexy man! <3 @Lithium: Thanks old man. :o @BioHazard: Thanks mate. @Dave: Cheers, pal. @ColdBlooded: Thanks man. @Damaged: Thanks dude. @Prototype: Thanks pal. @Danger: Cheers mate. :) Starting to think "@all: Thanks guys" would have been much easier...
  4. Looking good. :cool:
  5. Then after the first, you would use $msgtext = str_replace('...', '', $msgtext); But this isn't really a usable way, imagine having 50+ words to replace. Or use an array within the str_replace(); str_ireplace( array ('Google', 'Yahoo'), array ('Duck Duck Go', 'AltaVista'), $var);
  6. Anywhere you want to use it. Bare in mind, I have no idea of GRPG's structure, set up or generally anything about the engine. So just use it where you need it.
  7. Use an array. :) Edit: To be helpful, an example of a way you could do it. function replaceWords($text) { $words = array ( 'Google' => 'Yahoo', 'Bing' => 'Duck Duck Go', 'AltaVista' => 'AWWWWW YEAAAAAAH' ); $replaced = str_ireplace(array_keys($words), array_values($words), $text); return htmlentities($replaced, ENT_QUOTES, 'UTF-8'); } /* TEST */ $str = 'Google, google, bing, Bing, AltaVista, altavista, AlTaViStA'; echo 'STRING: '.$str.'<br />'; echo 'Replaced: '.replaceWords($str); /* TEST OUTPUT STRING: Google, google, bing, Bing, AltaVista, altavista, AlTaViStA Replaced: Yahoo, Yahoo, Duck Duck Go, Duck Duck Go, AWWWWW YEAAAAAAH, AWWWWW YEAAAAAAH, AWWWWW YEAAAAAAH */ On an extra note if you really wanted to do you it your way, make sure after the first you use the correct variables, otherwise it's not going to do all of them (well it will but won't produce the desired result).
  8. Smexy; The even more logical, other than not doing it this way, would be to expect the input to be in the same order as the output. :|
  9. function gold_format($money) { $copper = '000'; $silver = '000'; $gold = '000'; $counter = strlen($money); if ($counter <= 3) { $copper = $money; } if ($counter <= 6) { $copper = substr($money, -3); $silver = substr($money, 0, -3); } if ($counter <= 9) { $copper = substr($money, -3); $silver = substr($money, ($counter - 6), -3); $gold = substr($money, 0,($counter - 6)); } return (($copper == '000') ? '' : $copper.' C<img src="" title="" />'). (($silver == '000') ? '' : $silver.' S<img src="" title="" />'). (($gold == '000') ? '' : $gold.' G<img src="" title="" />'); } Still a little sketchy on why you are doing it like this (equally as sketchy as why you expect the param back to front compared to your code), however this should provide the result you're after.
  10. But that isn't what the TC asked for... I would think Peter's guess is probably correct.
  11. All of a sudden, I feel I want to add yawswmammjaifaf.com to my list. :O
  12. By giving us those two words, you will get very limited responses, and those responses you get will in return get "Something more unique", if you want something more unique, people need more to work from, other than Wizard and Mage. Oh and thanks for a third wide scoped keyword PVP, extremely helpful. I would try one of those word generator thingy-ma-bobs. Or come up with something unique yourself, as you're the only one that knows (in-detail) what your game is about.
  13. Harry Potter. (he was a wizard right?) No seriously, more information is needed,at least tell use the objective of the game. For example if it were, train to become a wizard (IE: Harry Potter, you can tell I've not watched it). Then a suggestion could be wizard school.
  14. No it's a domain used by a free hosting provider (perhaps one of the domains used by that x10hosting something or other).
  15. Happy Birthday, man. Try not to get to drunk eh. ;)
  16. http://www.nw-engine.com/ Sign up, it's on there. :)
  17. I imagine some kind soul will release some free mods, however you'd probably find them on the marketplace. As for converting, I don't think it would be to difficult, providing you have a good grasp of both engines, in any case I am sure someone will help if you post on the forums. :) Edit: It is my belief that the market place is open for anyone to sell their mods providing they're up to some set standard and actually work. I think A_bertrand will have to confirm this, but I think it's right. Best of luck with the engine.
  18. Drop it, all new. I'm sure if your product is worth our time a few community members probably would be willing to redo a chunk of the freely available mods for v3. However those willing members should get early access to the script therefore upon release there is already a few addons available.
  19. This. Try GIMP or that web version of Photoshop, get a feel for it and when your ready jump into *msPaint* Photoshop. :)
  20. Looking good.
  21. Trial periods are good for this sort of 'try before you buy', as far as I am aware, Adobe offer trial versions of their software.
  22. Super badass.
  23. Yes, but that's the idea, that's why you generally prepend something to 'developer', like 'Web Developer' or 'Front-End Developer'. @Lithium: Hush you. :P
  24. Whilst I see coding/programming and coder/programmer respectively almost every day, I prefer the terms 'developing'/'developer'. As for there being a correct and incorrect way, I don't think so, it really ends with, does the person you're speaking to understand what a "php coder" or a "php programmer" is, if not try "web developer".
  25. Only what 4 days early.
