Hi guys,

Having a little issue with my crons, they don’t seem to be running at all and I don’t have a clue why. Any ideas?

Check error logs, add your email to crons so it emails you when the cron runs.

check your host as some let you add them but the cron jobs are actually disabled in account by the host you have to request them open a support with them

Thanks for the advice guys, will check these out tomorrow and see what happens.

Go to your offline game and run the cron directly through the the browser. If the page comes up blank, then you have no errors in the cron file and the problem is on cpanel side.

the link would be something like:

localhost/yourgame/cron_fivemins.php?code=YOURCODEFOUNDINCONFIG

I hope that helps.

Also if your cron file is working right, it could be your host. most hosts don't like mintute/five minute crons.

I believe x10 floors you on crons. Last I checked/heard they don't allow min crons unless your on paid hosting and I think they only allow a certain amount of crons per day

As previously said above, it could be a hosting limit. I've found very few cheap/free hosts allow anything under 5 minutes. I was paying $5-$6 AUD for a host who didnt allow anything under 10 minutes from memory(2-3 years ago).
