Hi guys,

Haven’t posted much around here in a while and have been quite bored the past few days so started messing around on Photoshop and came up with this layout. What do you guys think?

It looks nice for a business advertising products. The blue looks good.

Too basic, needs something, which I don't know. Wouldn't stay on the site with the template. Rating: 3.5-4/10

Yeah I know what you mean It does need something adding. Might try code it up and see what it comes out like!

Basic is not always a bad thing when designing.

I would say if it was a page were each link allowed a JS action to change the main content area (for example) it would be fine the way it is. Not sure what is "missing", however I'm not sure I like the banner type page title across the main content area.

Nowadays its more about the simplicity and elegance of a site/program. People like a simple, clear UI unlike before where it used to be a lot more flashy.

I will have to agree with Dom on this one. if some sort of js/jquery event happened with each link like a fade that would be pretty sweet. And for the banner across the top, it could use a touch up. I think its the corners are too sharp. Maybe you can round them up a bit like it just folded over the content area
