• Free resources by using CSS3 nth child.
  
• Selecting all columns from users, when 5 or so columns are actually being used, is bad practice. (Guests example)

Yeah, I didn't feel the need to update it though and remove the "bloat" -- pointless when, if nobody corrects it, then I'm assuming their other queries are all pulled the same too. No point adding an ice cube to an iceberg
