Dayo
Has anyone used an external cron service like https://www.setcronjob.com/ to run there games, I'm not interested in the 1 min cron as anything under 30 mins I'll use time stamps. So what are people's experience with them and who did they use (paid or free)

a_bertrand
https is not a proxy Raven, HTTPS means HTTP+SSL which is the secure layer on top of HTTP
Dave
In all honesty you're just better in paying more for your hosting package and then enabling the crons on your own host, or via your own server via a CronTab as it will most likely be considerably cheaper and not have the limits which services like this impose. Spudinski
What I think of external service providers: Hey, here's a backdoor to my site. Just don't share it with anybody. You sure you won't? Ok, then. I'd rather trust my dog with a boiling hot cup of coffee on my lap than a service provider like that.
