Guest LostOne
So, some may and some may not remember me from around here, but I was a regular user until around 22 months ago, when I went away for a while to focus on personal issues. Back then, there was fairly decent money in making and selling modifications, but as I have been away for so long, I do not know how the market is going or even if there are enough users of the code to warrant the time to invest in making the modifications. Input is all appreciated and I look forward to your views on this. Regards, Luke
Rory_M
I am not sure of the old prices since i am new to coding but the prices for an average mod now seems to be about 20$
Danny696
I would say there is very little money left in mccodes, but mabey in other game engines.
Kieran-R
Less and less people are using mccodes every day in my opinion. I suggest you start thinking about making mods for other engines because my bet would be that n a few years, MCCides will no longer be as popular as other engines. However making mods in general is still a good idea. There is still many people who are developing games on this forum.

You say that, but I see very few people requesting mods for other engines. On Makewebgames, as much as i hate to admit it, mccodes is still #1 in the engines market. It will probably always be the case due to the amount of free modifications. I do however agree it’s best to branch out. You should not be glued to just mccodes anyways. ;)
Cronus
There is still money left in mccode mods. There are plenty of developers out there and new ones every day.
Guest LostOne
Thanks for the input guys. Looking through the forums, I noticed the only other person who has managed to make a fully working blackjack mod, is SeanyBob. That mod not popular? Or just that it is hard to make so most people avoid trying it? :(
Rory_M
I played a game called Cyber City that had a Black Jack, this was made by Erick (i will not give his second name or email unless he agrees).
sniko
I've seen a lot of bad things said (on this forum) about mccodes, but nevertheless, i shall still develop modifications for the engine, simple as this is a community, and the engine is still used. Dave
Hmm, this is a tough one. On my recent modification (The Ajax Donation cart) I made significantly less in the same time period to some of my less advanced modifications I've sold on here. I used to a total sales of around 30 per a modification yet on my recent system I've received enough to make a decent profit from the system but not as much as I believe I would of before. But this could be due to the price being nearly double of the older systems I created.
Nickson
I still think it's worth a shot, however it kind of depends on what you can. People with a huge load of knowledge and experience may develop more complex system for another market and just earn a load more with that. But if you can find the right mod, for the right price. You're sure to have some sales, combine that will a good combination of quality, reputation and support and you should do rather well.
