Well this is a game me and my partner have been working on for awhile.

I realize there is still much more to do, and some features are not up/completely done, but this is what we have come up with so far:

http://castle-legends.com

There is no design for the login and register only ingame right now, this is not based on Mccodes, infact its all custom, we started from scratch.

Test Account: Demo

Test Account Password: demo

I would like suggestions, tips, and feedback, thanks.

Many thanks to my partner Starkid225.

The first comment will be that it is slow loading for me. Second will be the inside template throws me off balance, you have a very graphical top header which you definitely got from gamesitetemplates.com but then add paint work to it which in my eyes just ruin it. I would try to keep consistent with the style of your design, gives the gamer a sense of relax thinking the game is all put together by the same person.

Its really really slow. There is no way you will be able to run a game on that hosting server.

Have to agree with Peter the rest of the template needs work regardless if it was not made by yourselves it still needs work. In my opinion the font chosen for the title is wrong.

if the template was not made by you make sure the author has the rights to use/resell the images as the header is from GST and they only sell 1 licence at a time

It's ok I like the concept of items in your market but there are also things in your market that needs fixing such as your search, it directs to forum search dont know if you noticed it and forum is spelt for:m on your game, by the search area....

As for the logo on top I hope you didnt pay someone to make it for you, they did a really bad job... As for I can see where they duplicated the picture and covered it over 13 times and they didnt do a good job with smudging in the black area and rendering the knight... also you should think about the most popular width on peoples screens and not just aim for what is suitable for your screen only...

its a little too wide players dont like to scroll over who uses 15 inch screens on their laptop or computer monitor...

Your game looks pretty good, lacks alot of security and back end coding could be alot better but it is a respectable effort and it could do really well. I wont jump all over you about the layout or speed of host since it all seemed just fine to me but yes it still needs alot to be done. All together I give it a thumbs up, you should definitely keep working with it.

Perhaps it would help if you pointed to the pages with vulnerabilities?

Anyway well done on creating it yourself rather then using an engine. Nice to see more people going the route to attempt uniqueness (I have not looked at the site yet, but well done anyway).

New events: 1 => "Your Item Broke - Message - Your Broke."

That's indeed an useful message ;)

Anyhow that's really cool to see a self written engine, congratulations!

You should share about your development experience!

a_bertrand chances are that is an old event, but it should say the item that broke, thanks though, I will double check to make sure its not an error.

PS: Lucky I do not understand what you mean by forum?

Thanks so far!

Thanks everyone for your feedback so far. I have read every one of these posts and will continue to you use your feedback to improve the game. It looks as though many people have brought up the template so we will direct our thoughts to some possible solutions. Thanks again and remember we always accept feedback and suggestions. Some specific ones I pulled out are pretty interesting and I want to add a proper reply to them.

Any information on where these potential security issues are? Thanks for your feedback.

I think most people agree with you about the template. We will look into fixing it. I would like to know if you have any more information on the problems you had with the market search. I also was unable to locate the forum spelling error. Hope you can help us.

Okay a few slight layout bugs.

Explore page: http://prntscr.com/1s6rg

Inventory, your pagination only somewhat shows: http://prntscr.com/1s6rn

User Info: http://prntscr.com/1s6sc

Inventory, if I unequip or equip no matter what the guide (that thing that say Primary: none; etc) doesn't update.

My thoughts, while jQuery and it's UI are very nice and handy, your inventory/marketplace are to some extent unusable, I actually had to hover over (very small) icons just to see what they were for.

Your item info pop-up, is a little slow, now I'm not sure if that's hosting/my net connection or the style of animation your using.

I give you credit, it's a game from scratch, it doesn't in a sense follow the same game pattern as we've come to expect from most of the game posts on here, while still remains recognizable, to the people that play this type of game.

Well done Blademaker, and Starkid.

Thanks for this info. Your feedback is much appreciated. Alot of people have given us bad feedback about the template and such so we will be looking into that. I will fix the link/text sizes and pagination for you and those that use your browser and resolution.

Well I don't have anything bad to say about the template as it doesn't look that bad to me, just the placement is a little off, that's all.
