If you have any mods ideas post them here!

Some people will make them free of charge, but some people may want to make it and sell it for a price.

So post mod ideas here!

if its ideas your after ;)

1 = get rid of all the stupid get rich quick ways.

2 = get rid of the ability for users to able to refill everything

3 = better installer so you can rename the game currency

4 = sort the attack.php page out for one that actually works

5 = add ability for NPCS to attack users aswell as users attacking NPCS

6 = Stop over ranked players being able to attack ver low ranked players ;)

7 = better table structures so the users table isnt so stressed

8 = finally fix all the sql injections and loop holes

9 = stop 12 year old kids buying mcc and posting crap on here ;)

JDS Nothing beat's my unique travel mod. You got 3 option's to travel.

Plain, Train, Car.

For the plain you got to buy a passport and still the ticket at the travel agency. You get to your destination faster.

For the train you don't need anything but pay for the ticket at the agency. You get to your destination a little less than plain.

For the car you need a licence and still pay for the ticket at the agency. You get to your destination last.

But. Each field has different price's and of course you can guess which one that is. The car.

You get locked out from playing the game while traveling.

Thre is a travalers page where you can view who is traveling and to what destination.

Advanced attacking:

Option 1 My first idea was an extension to iamwicked's attack system. When you attack a user with his mod it hits them in a certain place and shows where on the skeleton picture. I am after the same thing but the damage comes down to not just strengh and agility but where you hit them. so 1/10 you will hit them in the heart causing more damage than hitting them in the foot wich you hit 1/3. If i have confused you let me know.

Option 2 Similer to option 1 but you click on a certain anatomy on the picture to attack you have a % chance of hitting that place so if you went to hit someone in the hear you would have less chance of hitting them than going to hit them in the foot. although if you do succeed you will do more damaged hitting them in the heart.

 

Advanced streets:

A brand new advanced streets... It goes something like this, you have a picture background of like a path a player clicks somewhere on the picture to move to they can only move a maximum of 25 spaces per day, when they click where they want to move to it tells them all of the things found on the way. so if i start at coordinates 1,1 and click to move to 3,2 my little man will move to 1,2 and the player is told what they have found it then Carry's on to 2,2 and once again the player is told what they have found and then it moves to 3,2 and again the player is told what has happened. the player now has moved three places so is still left with 22.

Thats the streets, but as an add-on to the streets the little man that they move on the picture is to be their character, so in preferences they are able to create their own meme design the hair e.t.c and buy extra item for their meme. this meme is now used for the streets

 

Advanced lottery:

A little bit more realistic than the one everyone has. When the player goes to buy their ticket they choose what numbers they want. the numbers to choose are displayed on a ticket and they click on them... for each ticket bought the prize fund goes up, the draw is taken each week. and it has a prize breakdown just like the real lotto.. match all numbers win jackpot match 4 win bla bla win 3 e.t.c...

 

Traveling flight time add-on:

It has an option that you can try and be a stowaway if you get away with it you get into the country for free if you dont you end up in jail and with a fine. It's to have the option where you can choose to fly via private jet, or normal airlines. If you fly via private jets it will cost more but your flight time will be cut shorter.

 

Gym pass add-on:

A user has the option of paying full price for a week's pass (price depending on level). Or they can go for a half price week pass which is a forgery. each time they enter the gym they run the risk of getting jail time and losing their forged pass.

I already have that system and am selling for $15. User can pick number's from 1 - 49. end of week it is selective. Member's must go check there own ticket's. It will tell them which ticket has won. they can win multiple time's. The jackpot is devided by the amount of winner's.

HOW ABOUT THIS MOD IDEA...

I want to add books to a book shop, Each book will give a different amount of IQ when bought and used but i want to be able to add all the books to the shop but then have only 5 show at a time, lets say book A, B, C, D, and E... But then every hour change around to say, Book F, H, A, Z, Y etc etc....

????

I have a few ideas, not sure how hard they would be to code though..

1 Build your house.

User start off with the default house, and to be able to upgrade first you need to buy land, then have the materials in your inventory, say the next house needs 50 stone and 100 wood to build. on the main screen it could tell you how many materials you need to get to build the house

2. Item Combining.

User can goto a blacksmith who will show you a list of items you can make depending on what you have in your inventory. So say you have an arrowhead and an arrow shaft, you can combine it to make an arrow, the arrowhead and shaft get removed from your inventory and the new item added. If you have 50 silver ore and say 10 wood you could make a sword

3. Item Stats.

User can equip item and gain stats [NOT USE], but only when the item is equipped. Say you equip a sword it will give you 10% str bonus, a 20% maxhp bonus <-- it's not possible to simply add the addition stats the the regular stat fields, because if a user train then removes a stat item they would loose 10% of their total stats.

4. City Requirements.

A small addition to citys, they require a certain itemid to be able to visit them, say you need a map to visit.

5. Donator Intrest

A little mod that checks if you have item X in your inventory, if you do you get 2x the normal bank intrest, if you have more than two they don't stack.

 

There mostly item checks but i haven't seen the others posted in the paid mod section.

I made something like that, but it was a Build Gym feature, where the user could choose from three different sized gyms to build. They'd need cement and bricks to build the gym, and then would need to buy insurance. Then, they can train in their gym. All three gyms are better than the normal gym. I'm contemplating on making it more advanced and selling it.

I think that would be quite easy. Maybe add a small query in the Travel Agency or on Explore (or anywhere you like) that checks to see if the required item is in the inventory. If it isn't, the page produces a die() statement.

 

Overall, some very good ideas there. :) I may attempt one or two of them later after I've finished my current 'project'. :)

im sure this mod is very easy but im not sure how to do it

basicly like apear offline on msn but only for admin that way when ur testing mods u have added ur not getting bugged because nobody knows ur there

That has been done already, try searching around you might be able to find it

I don't think it has been posted before though lost, reason being i made one for my donators.

i actually tried to do something like this , a few open source scripts have this (dragon knight ,phaos), it would require a huge port .

i didn't get far but maybe someon else can help out on this.

1 How about a Mod where when you view the userlist.php:

1 - it only prints the names of the users in that location(city)

2 - it only prints out 25-50 per page

2 A new attack that calculates everything into 1 hit:

1 - One click success/fail

2 - hp effected by attack (not the all or nothing method)

- lose % of hp from the attack || or make an equation

- this way the users can attack anyone with large amounts of money multiple times with out having to wait for their health to update (if they are online they deposit right after getting out of hosp or before health updates(which limits amount that can be stolen))

To change the $ for a icon\currency which is customizable via the staff panel

If anywhere that uses money uses the money_formatter function which is built into Mccodes by default it would be incrediably easy :).

so theres already the mod out there so owners can change the currency to whatever one they like via staffpanel (including scrapping/hiding the $ symbol and using a icon)?
