  1. Maybe the persons name, or let us decide what we want to have there ... like a website name or something. But you already took it off. Greg
  2. Awesome. This is VERY helpful. Thank you! Greg
  3. Well I have not posted it publically anywhere. I certainly have given it out though. I can also remove the link. I just want to bring it into the open for discussion etc. Greg
  4. Is that good enought you think?
  5. 1331 are you my long lost twin or what? lol
  6. hostgator doesn't run browser games? please link that up here or I might as well jump off a cliff :)
  7. There is an option to prove *I* own the rights to use the NWE engine. It goes back to the host site and says "YEP VALID LICENSE" but it also says "LICENSED by [email protected]". Just a little annoyance, nothing more. Greg
  8. And this is not a BIG deal. But it gives out my personal email account on the license verification. NORMALLY this isn't a good thing in my opinion. I would rather something less pointing at the same place my wife and kids email me to lol. Stops spam. Greg
  9. Okay, I will admit I didn't research this 100%, but wanted everyone's opinion. Topic: Menus I see the system creating menus and sub menus in the lib/common.php. Awesome. Each application has the ability to attach to the menu and create sub areas on that menu ... such as Action, Communication using menu.php in the modules. Great. I want to suggest an additional option, menu_name be added. Then I wish the template to take each menu and place the code to run it where ever I wish. Such as MainMenu (left screen wide), FooterMenu perhaps or even more important RightMenu (when logged in) which is where I put in the Admin options. Just lets me not have such a long menu on the left with all those important admin menu choices on the bottom.   Many of the CMS systems do this and let us put it where we want. I mean the current system is certainly 100% functional. I just want it 100% flexible. Thank you, Greg
  10. That would be most kind. Is the free version close enough I could use it as a baseline? Greg
  11. Could you (if you have time). Define which tables you consider CORE (I mean necessary to run the site) and which modules you consider CORE (needed to run the site). I was going to delete all the modules and tables until I got something running that does 'nothing'. Possibly have a subdirectory of 'Core' that mimicks the 'Module' directory but has code that must be included but could be updated separately from the main system. Greg
  12. Tested and worked. I used an older version, update the admin module update. I refreshed and did the chat_bar. Good to go. (And might I point out that was about the fastest fix I have seen before lol) Greg
  13. Did you see it happen though? Or am I just insane? Greg
  14. Just now went to update the 4 modules (chat_bar, explore, npc_discussion, register). Selected update for chat_bar, screen did its thing and the screen refreshed with chat_bar still showing. If I refresh the screen it goes away. After some checking, I have noticed that if lines 2,3,4 are selected it works properly, screen is automatically refreshed, but if the first line is selected, the item remains displayed but the task was completed. I hope that makes sense. The update is working but the screen indicates it did not unless you refresh the page (only for the first item). Greg
  15. http://themeforest.net templates (for the most part) use bootstrap in their themes, in case anyone wants to see them in action. I have purchased a couple of these themes and its really easy to lay out the pages. Now we just need to get some jQuery flowing in NWE and the world is our oyster. Greg
  16. Your Money Is Our Business!!! lol ty
  17. Sorry not Lugano, Lucerne. Lived in Germany for 3 years.
  18. I've been to Zuirch, Berne and Lugano. Just need to stop the cigarette smoking in the resturants lol
  19. I intend on adding 4 modules to the market place so far. Free of course. If I offer anything for money it will be worth it. I looked at the mccode modules for money and it was a joke (from what I saw of course). I picked this engine, not that the messages are 700 to 70,000 (mccode) but because the few people that write give a crud. :) Greg
  20. 1331 Are you just trying to see true or false rather than array length? I would have responded earlier just wanted you to post more information. I think Alain (is that right?) may have nailed it though. Greg
  21. Well as a programmer, I can do all this myself BUT Do I have the time? Do I have the patience? I have alot of respect for the main developer, though he doesn't know me, I have followed him for a couple of years. Security is probably the numbder 1 problem of any game.
  22. Well I would actually pay for something that saves me time. I mean lots of time. If I can do it in an hour and it looks like I will not gain 10 hours of time I probably wouldn't pay anything. I have not bought anything from the community but would for something useful. My thoughts are that you can release your code, ask for compensation from the owner and you all deal with it :) I looked at Mccodes and think this engine has more potential. But thats my opinion and such. Greg
  23. I only thought it would be easier to organize now than later. We are generating some info here daily. But you know best :) Greg
  24. Can we have some separate forums sections like mccode? ----------------------- Announcements Roadmap Suggestions Tips ----------------------- Module Development Core Development Custom Modifications Free Modules Paid Modules Something like that? Greg
