I don't know as many people who uses mccodes whom are new don't know what the hell their doing at all... Your best to start with login/db connection tutorials online PHP/MYSQL ... DONT use any engine until you know the basics!! The biggest error is new people trying to install mccodes, and people whom have NOT read up anything on mysql or how to connect to a database- so start with that first... know what a database is and where to locate it lol. A couple people have no clue, that I have helped on here that were new to mccodes and php...

So a customer walks in an art gallery, and decides to purchase an art piece, he gets home knowing there was no refund to begin with, only to find out that the art did not go good on his wall, as he planned it to be, so is the customer always right?? I doubt it!! That is just a catch phrase all stores uses that has refunds, and tax write offs...Not a phrase for individuals creating art...

all i can say it's your fault for paying ahead of time without seeing a screenshot of the design first... even though you have been doing good without scamming people, the past in which you have undone always comes back 10 fold, so it's a learning process you get along with the bad karma from the past... $20 is not a lot, he did provide you with the design, who's to say your just not saying you don't like it, just to get the cash back and the design??? I wouldn't even care about $20 for a cheap template, he did put work into it... If you wanted the exact thing why were you not smart enough to copy the website?? It's pretty simple to copy then take out elements you want to change...

Of course it was what do you expect for free mccodes that was illegal in having in the first place, it's bound to have problems... NO the code was NEVER stolen or actually coded at all by either...It was simply illegal mccode engine, with only a template added and a few paid mods from here... I'm glad you are learning to really code now!! Instead of using illegal software!

  Yeah they are from roguevampires.net all the people who created it, and played on there. So yeah they are known. It's a toss up though because anyone could claim to be goodgirl, both names that associated with her was once users on this forum, and well we all know that there are scammers out there on here, so it would be nice to be aware of this ordeal, of this person creating a game based off illegal script. To be honest, I played HP and could not stand it, the coder had no knowledge of anything, and it was mccodes all the way nothing was unique, and they used a couple paid mods from off here. As for it being stolen from dragonplains, I doubt that is true, it looks like a free copy of mccodes off the rapidshare website, maybe the site went down because they held NO valid mccode license!! My theory. But then the original players said the owner goodgirl, has shut down her site more then twice, but they continuously registered and played, and trusted this person lol... It was brought into this forum because maybe the thread starter knows more then what he/she is stating and is trying to get the truths.

?? Is it not childish to pretend to be someone who you are not? For real? What kind of success will you pull in by lying to your players/users?? Another question in mind, what about all the players/users who donated to your game? Do they not get their monies worth at all? Sorry but that is bad business, and I know quite a couple of your regular players, and this is not going to sit well with them when i mention this thread to them, I will make sure they are aware of this NEW game!!! remember bigger the amount the less advantage to the game, if everything is given out in large amounts all at once there is no growth for anything which will leave a player leaving the game once all goals are done... Balance your cash out.. torn is a good example how cash should be in a game. You do not want one player holding onto billions in their banking or in their hand.. You want to make that billion harder to get, by balancing it. I have seen a couple games where I could collect 1 billion within 2 days, leaving me with no goals, because i could buy all the things in that game with the billions i had in the bank...That game was running for 2 years then was abandon by all the players, and there was over 10k players active.

I rather have another game link spam in a game, it just brings on the challenge to make your game better then that game that is being spammed. If a player is a dedicated player they are not going to stop playing to play on another game, as a player on one game I am always spammed with other game links before the spammer is banned, I go to those links but nothing holds my interest like the game I play while receiving those links, mafia and crime is over rated themes, there is only one crime game i am willing to play that is based on mccodes which is torn, and i dislike all mafia games on mccode engine, I have yet found one that holds my interest. I may have signed up to a lot of them, but i never stuck around to play them to level 2 lol... So with that said someone spamming their game links should not be that big of a worry if the game link that is being spammed does not meet up with the game the player is playing at the time of the spam being received... Here is an example... not to bash skooda's game, but if he spammed his link all over I would only sign up then never log back in, due because I have seen his type of game before its been done there is no unique feature to hold my attention or interest me in playing it... Now if he added something unique that the other game did not have I may be interested in playing, but that is a big might!

The database queries should always be secured, the output will not secure the database even if you have secured the output only... Once a user submits something it goes to the database first then to the output, your game will be hacked fast if you don't have your database secured... Unless your meaning you have somebody's cheap way coding and they secured all the vars in another page you included??

Same thing here too.. Better to just make a demo account TK, and take off the option to change pass and name instead of having to wait approval... Other then cant login it looks fine layout and all but the loading sucks on my end.

I wouldn't worry much, secure your game, and dont use the same login and password, and you should be fine. Someone probably gained access through somewhere you signed up that you used the same login and password as you do for your game/hosting account, thus meaning it would not necessarily mean hacking but failure in changing your info. That's why it pays to keep track of all websites you sign up with, and logins and pass and always make them all different. You never did state exactly what kind of hack the hacker did to your game. Or on which page, you could easily find a solution in solving the security breach on this forum, there are many good coders on here that offer security for your website. Or even help in helping you learn how to secure it. The first step I would advise change all your logins and passwords to something newer and not used elsewhere, then start with the security on your game.

Resetting the modem will issue a different IP depending on the country I have heard UK, also has the option as does US... Also there are programs that resets IP on every logon, bypassing the need to reset the modem. Wireless networking in a cafe or city that has many open wireless connections. There are many more options then just a proxy.

Just to put it out there, IP can change continuously especially wireless, another thing is if you are hacked it's time to get new security on your database/codes... And is this really a Collaboration partner doing so? Just asked, because where this thread is in the forum lol....

  post the WHOLE page you have it on,,, you have body,html tags somewhere they shouldnt be that is making it not come up but rather the tags themselves. Test my script it works, just make a file call it mail.php and add the code, then go to that page in url then check you mail. you will see the code works... Dont add anything to what I posted in the test page. However add your game pic url where it goes.

it would be in neither one, it goes in staff_shops.php, if i remember correctly how mccodes is set up.

There is nothing there after logging in the side menu just says content no links.. looks ok and needs lots of work still to be done to it, but would not be the type of game i would play.

Why is this still going on? Obviously the guilt is still eating at you... Just stop selling other peoples games, and end it on that and move on... It should have never failed did you check your spam folder??? I personally tested it and it mailed everyone in the database.... Did you happen to look at that file though poll_view.php? It is calculating the outcome, it's not updating the query so you would not see nothing in the fields differently...If you want it to update a field you will need to add it as for none of the pages actually updates that field but calculates the table fields.
