I think this *might* be sarcasm since he gave more then enough information to solve the problem he mentioned (using two queries). Don't insult members... someone who hasn't even posted in the thread. Even if someone does come along and fix it still leaving errors I'm shocked you're attacking people for caring enough to attempt and learn. How is anything anyone has done here spoon feeding? Even if someone fixed it up it's still up to the one using it to understand it. Unless I sit here and install it for them I don't see your point at all. You're just insulting yet more people by claiming they are unwilling to learn when you have no idea who will be using the modification.

Maybe the extra 4% is eating/drinking or sleeping assuming the original calculation doesn't take just waking hours. We can't really judge someone for this as he is throwing out random numbers, and not explaining them... well actually we could, but what's the point. :p

I don't see why you have to bump a year old thread to say that, however I doubt it has nothing to do with a planned ETA that was probably a best case scenario. I haven't seen paul around for a while, and the site itself is no longer up... I doubt that's because of poorly planned time schedule.

The idea behind the increased energy regain is that donators get more out of there time (e.g. more training, and more crimes then a non-donator) so it's built into the engine. I doubt any site has gone under purely because of a donator gym... unless the owner of the site gave it such an adventure the one donator couldn't be beat... EVER (has happened, but never with a gym that I know of anyway). Although you don't want a game be donator dominated you have to give some reason worth doing so otherwise people simply don't.
-
What exactly makes the gym advanced?
-
Not exactly sure what that has to do with anything. If it's not fit for purpose wouldn't you go for a refund rather then selling it on especially since this is not an "in development" product.

Out of curiosity how up to date was the version he was using?
-
Most software has a transferable license even if it's limited to 1 time so it's always worth asking.
-
No. I will however point you in the right direction - http://makewebgames.io/showthread.php/43500-mccodemods-what-the-hell
-
Apparently the buyer didn't buy the rights to the modifications. So if you can't contact Cronus I wouldn't resell them.
-
Mccodemods.com was sold off. So... does anyone know who owns the right to Cronus' mods now?
-
First off did the two attacks you posted actually work or fail?
-
I was actually directing that at those who have all but insisted a paid domain makes you more credible. Well it's true it probably looks better it changes nothing. I know, and on occasion hire, developers who don't even have personal sites.
-
I merged the two threads as there was simply no need to open a new one. Searching this question gives you a number of options, and well I've not seen seen Sniko's solutions I'm sure it's worth the money. A free option can be found here and somewhere on this site there is a least 1 thread about MySQL events as a replacement. I would suggest such searches as "Cron Job Replacement." or "timestamps".
-
Sounds good. Seems to have more features then those already available.
-
Can you prove you hold a license?
-
A paid domain name doesn't make you a professional nor does using a free one (nor a free host) just to get opinions matter. Having said that mentioning it would look better is one thing, however there was really no need to be so rude.

We all make mistakes, don't worry about it. :)

I'm a little confused as to why you would want to ban/unban the jailer (staff member) unless you mean the actual jailed account and I'm reading it wrong? Is it more of an appeal system?
-
You're welcome. In my opinion it makes a lot of sense to have it available both in, and out of the game. The biggest support issues would be those that break the account.
-
Maybe send an E-mail to the user as well (they would need to put the E-mail in when the ticket is opened) since I assume this feature is for non members/members that can't access their account?
-
So... some as it's been for years? :p If you can show proof I'm sure they will both sell.
-
The problem can be solved differently for every game, for example your run away players (stat wise) or a higher level then all the others correct? You could simply add "safe haven" locations to the game allowing smaller players to avoid attacks. Items to protect themselves well online, and gang war rules to protect a larger gang/clan (or whatever you call them... if you have them at all) attacking the weakest without reason. An example on this would be a penalty (money, respect or anything really) if your gangs average level is X higher then those you are attacking. Protection for new members is always a good thing as well (first 10 days?). You would need to add in extra features to make it worth being number #1 of course... Look for options other then removing the achievements of your members.

Why would the site be running both engines?
