Personally, harsh criticism is the best. If people are gonna sit around and tell you "That's awesome, really nice, well done" whereas in reality everyone's thinking "What the f*ck is this piece of sh*t?" then it's not gonna be ANY help to you. If you don't like people criticising your work, then unfortunately graphics is not the best area for you. Man the f*ck up, take it on the chin, go to some tutorial sites and produce something that will turn heads. Man, I suck at Graphics and I probably could have produced what you're trying to sell for $10. Edit: Also, GTFO with these Spelling and Grammar wars, I hate it when there's a topic in which 3-4 pages are taken up by some pointless argument on how thing should be spelt, or what punctuation is correct. Who cares?

I am REALLY liking the look of the game though, I can obviously tell you've invested money in the layout and general appearance of the game (I just hope you also invested the same for the lines of code, as at the end of the day eye-candy isn't gonna stop you from the low-lives out there). Really do hope it goes well for you, and I'm sure it will judging by how it is looking so far!

Let's respect people's privacy here :P I have had my doubts on the validity of the claims you make, pentesting Jessie J's site, The Wanted's site etc. Dude, I call bullshit on that. Why the hell would the people behind these sites guys pay YOU, of all people (no offense) and not a professional company or someone with a large portfolio with a good history and a reputable name. They are platinum selling artists we are talking about, and no offense dude, but your spelling and grammar isn't exactly the best which I think is very important, because, at least for me, it makes it look like you what the f*ck you're on about. "If i cum typin lyk dis 2 u wat u gna fink?" I think you should show me some proof man. A lot of people (I imagine) are sceptical out here, clear some of this stuff up and be willing to take criticism on the chin, respond to the claims and clear all doubts up. It'll only help you in the long run ;)

It can be a big deal. Even if they are a paying player, it is still no reason to let them cheat. You have to look at the rest of your players, and they certainly would not be happy that you are letting someone get away with cheating simply because "they are a paying player". The majority of your players aren't going to be paying players most of the time (unless you're a really lucky game owner) so you have to take them into consideration.

I Really Hate It When People Type Every Word With A Capital Letter. It's Annoying Huh? On a serious note, at least give the name of the game, domain, screenshots perhaps, a working demo account. This is just like me saying to you "I'll sell you a car, give me the money and you'll get the keys the moment you give me the money". No-one knows what they're getting themselves into. I don't understand your logic. "I had a game with Gangster Legends, got a new layout, advertised but no-one joined after 2 weeks so I shut it down" - Really good logic...NOT I very highly doubt it is the engine that is the problem with the fact you are not getting any users, it's your own fault. You can't just close a site after 2 weeks because no-one joined. 2 weeks is nowhere near long enough. You think Torn City got however many hundreds of thousands of users they had in 2 weeks? No chance in hell. You've gotta stick with it. Build up a good story, make your game unique, pump some money into advertising and slowly but surely people will start to join. It doesn't matter what engine you use, the final product has to be detailed and unique. Answering the original question though, New World Engine or ezRPG.

Instead of discontinuing V1 I really think you should let it go open-source as djkanna said.

Hey, some of you may or may not remember me but I'm finally (this time I'm sure) getting back into coding, starting up a game and Gangster Legends will be my engine of choice. I looked through a few engine and this was definitely extremely well done and has a lot of potential, to which I have Dayo to thank for providing such a nice workover of the engine. Hopefully I can post some updates on how I'm getting along and what my game will feature, as well maybe asking any questions I have. I am looking forward to this project and am hoping to produce a quality game at the end of it! :) Thanks. Faz.

Trump is a racist bastard, so he'll do anything to promote himself. If you guys have him running for president next election, you guys are in trouble. I actually thought USA would never have a more stupid president than Bush, but if Trump gets elected I may be wrong. Straight to the point, I think he has been dead for some time too. People like Benazir Bhutto said before she died Bin laden had been killed a long time. Also, there is some evidence to prove he died of Kidney failure in 2001, but the reliability of these sources have to be called into question. The fishy thing for me is the fact they buried him in the sea. I mean, wtf is up with that? They say they are keeping wtih Muslim tradition to bury within 24 hours but that is false and since when was burying people in the sea Muslim Tradition..lol. I think this is basically to put some American faith in Obama and to help the Dollar. The Dollar was plummeting and this has restored confidence in a lot of stock markets around the world so it would make sense to let this news out at a crucial time...HOWEVER we will never really know what happened so we just gotta get on with it really :P Although I would like to see our troops withdraw from Afghanistan now, I thought that's what they were there for and should now go, it's costing us too much and too many lives are being taken, which is freaking annoying for such a pointless war. Unless, Bin laden was just an excuse to get in for some other reasons? -.-

Being good at Maths will mean you will be good at anything you do. You will look at things in a different manner and your approach to problems will be much more logical and systematic, meaning you will achieve better results in anything you. I've always been pretty good at Maths and its helped me a lot :)

Well I'd have to go with community too and second Jeff on that. I'm sure there are games out there that are so awesome with detailed mods and storylines, but unfortunately they just don't have the community and therefore the game wouldn't be enjoyable.

Apologies for sounding like an idiot, but have you guys seriously not taken these guys down yet? If you want to let people know to take you seriously and actually buy your script, you have to take them down. Everyone knows they sell illegal scripts. Its not like your trying to shutdown piratebay or anything, its probably some 14 year old kid who thinks he's doing the world a favour with his stupidity. I still can't believe this whole saga is going on.

Nice mod, looks like you put some good effort in there :) Good job. It does not really matter whether its US billion or UK billion. I've yet to see a game that uses a billion as 1 million million. The standardized idea of a billion is 1000 million, no matter in UK or US. You don't see people talking about UK billionaires as having 1200 million? So I don't see why it would ever be different. Besides the point, Bill Gates would still be filthy rich when converted to GDP, he'd still have 30 billion, or 30,000 million seeing as it's GDP? Was kinda a pointless post and I didn't feel it necessary to point out, but I had to, as it simply takes away credit from the owner for creating a good mod. Am I picky? Yes, it was simply not needed so it shouldn't have been posted. Everyone refers to a billion as 1,000 million Back to the point, nice mod man. It should help a lot of people out.
