W3Theory || Peter
There is no organization or structure. Everything just seems out of place. You need to focus and spend some more timing researching other templates. It will help immensely.

G7470
The black text in front of the background is difficult to read in spots where the background is a dark grey or just about black. Also, it seems like this page is lacking color. The only color I see is the login button and the CCM sign. The rest is a grey-black combination. I think a little more splash of color could really help the design. ~G7470

Coly010
I like the idea behind it, and your second attempt is definitely better than your first. You CCM Sign looks slightly out of place, i would maybe add a filter over it, dull it just a tad so that it looks like its part of the background. Colour wise, I would suggest giving your headings a colour, and maybe your navigation links. But good job :)

Coly010
Maybe, I would need to see it in action to form a better opinion, but if you do, outline it with black, otherwise it might be slightly difficult to see. You can do this in css or just use images
Jax
Why don't you try using a color scheme triadic color scheme - (for example - http://colorschemedesigner.com/csd-3.5/#1K32IezpZFpLE) or tetradic color scheme? That way the colors will mix with each nicely as a starting point. Designers will no doubt argue the difference, however I find it makes for a decent starting point. Coly010
How does it work? It sets you up with a colour palette that you can use throughout your design, colours that compliment each other.
