Normally count between 6-12 month of real training before reaching any good result. So don't stop yet, just continue to try. Also, it's fine to use images found on Internet for trials, however it's not ok to sell or use or even give for free your templates done with the images WITHOUT asking their author. For your work, colors don't match very well, and it's still pretty much empty. On top of that, I don't see where you can even add a little description.
