ICNP Agree's to .xxx

I just read about it today and this post is for people who dont already know but ICNP has agreed to .xxx domains, these domains will be active by 2011.

Well ICPN said that they are mostly releasing it so that most adult websites can shift to .xxx and it would become easier for parents to filter them etc

It would be easier to filter all .xxx site's, but come on. How much you think these domain's are gonna cost? There are like 2,000 already pre registered! They going to sell at like $30 - $100 a domain! Most porn site's are going to stick to .com as it's more known until the .xxx come's out, and most of them are probly already in the pre registered list.

Most porn site's have already refused to swap to the .xxx tld as most of them have the RTA Label.

Actualy, it's simple fact's. And a simple google search of ".xxx tld" can give you alot of information :)

Just a money making ploy. Unless its enforced that anything adult industry related has to use xxx then .com is still going to be the main domain extension.

All this does is make more domain names available making the registrars more money.
