Gimp just supports it, Photoshop offers psd, gimp just supports it because its popular. Can you turn an ugly hag into a top notch model in gimp? I can do that in photoshop for sure. Can you do a facial makeover? Photoshop is perfect for photo editing for sure, it is superior to gimp in that section. Gimp may be better for graphics but web layouts are better made with photoshop. If Gimp really is that good, why do people still use photoshop? :P Sorry but, Gimp does not compare. Quote
