    Hello :)

Re: Hello :) Hia Karol, Welcome to CE So are we allowed to ask questions ? if so lets say max 5 per poster... I start 1. I assume your female, correct if not well I learned something new? Just like the name Jan is in the whole world a male name except in the US. 2. Do you have a pet and no not your hubby , cat, dog, ... spider ... ? 3. What's your fav colour ? 4. Where are you from ? 5. Any good places to go out there where we could stumble upon you by accident ....if male heck no problem also we could go hunting ?
  2. Re: FlameSpark - Test us now in BETA! From my viewpoint A half baked alteration in a bad shape not following strict xhtml and css rules nor html rules of mccode lite. This is just as so many others claimed and failed to make a engine but used mccode as core. I would have expected that at least the htm would validate especially from a simple page. And what's up with the page saying you don't have cookies enabled and a refresh gives the login page... Oh nice using divs *sarcasm* , yet stumbled on the mccode tabled layout ... punny attempt you go full div layout or not, tables aren't needed it just shows again that mccode lite/V1 is used as core. At this point, my viewpoint it's nothing more than a stripped altered version of mccode lite where extra scripts will be added as they get 'ugly' rewritten. Just my impression, I might be wrong.

  5. Re: Gameforge looking for 200 new employees   There are already paid employees outside Germany without German language knowledge.
  6. Press Release Karlsruhe, February 18, 2009. All signs point toward growth: Gameforge, world-wide leading independent supplier of online games, is looking for 200 new employees for the areas of game development, graphics, support, quality management, product management, and online marketing. Unlike the traditional gaming industry, the young company remains unaffected by the financial crisis and will realize a turnover in the three-digit million range in 2009. In order to find qualified and creative heads, Gameforge has now started a number of comprehensive recruitment measures. Within the scope of promoting the young, Gameforge will also again award scholarships for the study of Computer Science/Game Development at SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg. The recruiting activities will be started off by the participation in the talent fair 'Making Games Talents', which is also supported by Gameforge as main sponsor. The event takes place from March 7-8 within the scope of the 'Olymptronica' video game convention in Frankfurt, Germany. Newcomers will have the opportunity here to contact the gaming industry directly and get information on universities specializing in game design and development. Over the course of the year, Gameforge will be involved in further business contact fairs as well as offer own recruiting events. For more information on the advertised vacancies please refer to the Internet at www.gameforge.de/jobs. Klaas Kersting: "We will significantly expand our recruiting activities this year. The economic success of our company is enabled solely by our qualified team. So Gameforge is constantly on the lookout for talented new people and employees who enjoy making progress together with us. The jobs are not limited to the Karlsruhe location though. As a modern Internet company, we also offer many options to external employees." In the course of promoting new people, Gameforge also continues the cooperation with SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg and again awards several scholarships for computer science/game development ? this time for the winter term 2009/2010. In doing so, Gameforge covers the tuition for the most talented students for the three-year study and also offers the scholarship holders the opportunity to complete the practical tri-semester at Gameforge. Interested high-school graduates and students can send their application documents to [email protected]. Please refer to http://web.fh-heidelberg.de/de/fh-heidelberg/4724.html for additional information on the course of studies and scholarships. Prof. Dr. Tobias Breiner, chair of the game development branch at SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg, says: "The gaming industry is rapidly gaining ground. With our focus on game development we want to purposely take countermeasures for the lack of specialists in this sector. So scholarships also include clear practical references." Gameforge CTO Alexander R?sner explains: "We are aware of the role model function we hold due to our market leadership. We therefore consider it to be our duty to also look after the new generation in game development." With a growth rate of 350 percent, Gameforge offers any number of exciting prospects for the coming years. Last year, the successful company model of Gameforge gained important economic awards such as 'Technology Pioneer 2009', 'Red Herring 100 Europe', 'Deloitte Technology Almost 50 Rising Stars', and has been appointed 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2008'. About Gameforge: Gameforge is the largest independent supplier of browser- and client-based MMOGs (massively multiplayer online games) worldwide. The company offers more than 12 games in over 50 languages. More than 65 million players have already registered for Gameforge games, and more than 15 million people actively play the company?s online titles. OGame, a strategic space simulation game with thousands of players across the world, is one of the best known browser-based MMOGs from the Karlsruhe gaming specialist. In addition, Gameforge offers a catalogue of top titles such as Ikariam, Legend Online, WarpFire, Gladiatus and BiteFight to the rapidly growing market of browser-based games. The company also publishes client-based online titles such as the action-oriented Metin2, Europe's biggest MMOG. Klaas Kersting and Alexander Roesner established Gameforge in December 2003. The investment firm Accel Partners has claimed a share in the company since August 2007. In 2008 Gameforge was awarded 'Red Herring 100 Europe', 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2008' and 'Technology Fast 50 Rising Stars'. Gameforge was selected 'Technology Pioneer 2009' by the World Economic Forum. More information about Gameforge is available at www.gameforge.de. 7. Re: Why won't anyone comment on this? Check the info center and it was NOT a security hole. (1 month and a few days as you can CLEARLY see) You can clearly see that there was a ddos attack due to the max members online. And stop discrediting CE Iamwicked or it will be a permanent ban this time.
  8. Re: Why won't anyone comment on this?   I think he is referring to the time the site was down for over 2 months, close to 3 months... Not sure how long ago, but it was a while. 2007-11-28 till 2008-01-04 so a month and a few days
  9. Re: Why won't anyone comment on this? Security hole , that's new CE was down dec 2007 due to a ddos attack
  10. Re: Why won't anyone comment on this? IAW can't leave CE, howwould he promote the mods and sites he makes. Just as most of the members at CE, CE is used as a free advertising medium. and downhill hmmm 61k page views yesterday (that's without the spiders else it would be like 400k) while your forum (pitty you removed those stats) receives 200 top 800 pageviews a day. I would say your forum goes downhill when you get days of 200 pageviews....
  11. Re: Usless comments in threads need to go bye bye US allows this on commercials, Europe not I would also like to see a community with 15k members that is polite and friendly in every post/topic. You can find that on communities with 20 top 100 registered members but not on larger communities. And surprisingly, on forum communities topics with hate/bad replies get always the most attention. It's actually THE best marketing strategy as topic starter gets more clicks than a topic with friendly unnoticed replies.
  12. Re: Poison Users ($5.00) Irrelevant posts removed
  13. Re: BB Code forums   Using a hidden internal forum kills the free exposure/promotion of your game. I never understood why some games want a ingame forum. Using a external forum, it will generate 1000s of links for your game Using a ingame forum, you will have a link for your mainpage/register/login/faq/screenshots/...
  14. Re: pacBL - A proxy and cheater black list I like the concept of it but still what with the DNS pools eg AOL
  15. Re: [Mccodes V2]Login Register, TOs hmmm so you gonna distribute pirated scripts ? http://xg-network.co.cc/scripts.php also if you distribute lite note that this was specific made for criminalexistence.com and mccodes.com maybe you should link the source you are also distributing NEAB (hopefully the lite), again a link to NEAB would be the norm but that's up to A_Bertrand to allow or not that you distribute NEAB (lite)

Re: CE's Home I liked the template and altered it to my needs , there are 1000s of great free templates even CETWG is based on a free template , again split up and altered php-games.net template is a paid template that got altered
  23. Re: FLASH MENU ($30) I could make easy some free flash menus, takes 5 minutes but ok as everyone knows me I'm lazy but ok, it's the effort that counts and rowbvp get's a +1 for me by offering members a different menu for their games
  24. Re: Phpbb 3 Registration Integration? There is a mccode modification for smf and I think floydian made on for phpBB allthough could be only for his Horizons Game engine.
  25. Re: How often are these games customized? I've seen mccode games gear in 10k a month..... even as there are 100s of similar games, I guess it's the community that makes the game.
