  1. This is the project I've been working on lately. What do you think? :) http://mobilemafia.net/ user: demo pass: demo Both the designs are done by W3Theory from this forum. The game is also available as an android app: click here.
  2. Just thought I'd come back and say thanks, Joshua! I'm using an attack system based on the codes in this thread :)
  3. I like the layout! Nice and clean :)
  4. I haven't read a lot about MVC yet, but I guess that's one of the options. Do you use it?
  5. Right now they can choose between two layouts by going to two different folders on my server, but I'd rather have their choice stored in the db for example. Having two folders requires me to have a lot of similar files between the two (altough the two share certain files).
  6. I'm setting a game of mine up with multiple layouts now, but it's tedious and difficult to manage. How should it be done? Using a template engine?
  7. Yeah I misunderstood, sorry :)
  8. I just got my second design from Peter and I highly recommend him! :)
  9. I disagree. Different sites can have very different conversion rates (amount of visitors clicking your banner divided by how many actually register). This is why you should have the register form on the frontpage, with as few fields as possible. You have to make it as easy as f*cking possible for people to sign up. If your site then has a small register-link barely visible you might find that none of your advertising efforts are worth it.
  10. I do it because it's fun, because it makes me money and because I like programming.
  11. Yes! It works great :) Not via sites like buysellads.cum, but directly from the webmaters.   No I haven't! Thanks for the suggestion.
  12. This is awesome. Good luck with the sale! I wish it was within my budget :)
  13. Nice job!:)
  14. I have two text based games available as android apps. Just creating the apps isn't enough. You're lucky to get one download / week. You gotta promote it there as well, and that costs..
  15. I've spent $50 with game-advertising-online now and gotten (email activated) players at $1.88 per player. I'm going to work on the landing page and try another $50 to see how that goes. I'm thinking about removing the email verification as well, as I've seen a lot of new registrations that aren't activated.
  16. Looks like http://www.glscript.net/ if you ask me. But lets see a demo.
  17. I can't listen to anything while programming. I just end up banging on the desktop, singing out loud etc. :p
  18. Sorry about that. I've only ever integrated these with php+mysql-games, so I guess that's what this service is for :)
  19. If you're interested in the service, send me a PM and I can show you.
  20. From the info at the table on the moment I wouldn't buy this as it seems like it isn't yours to sell. Convince me otherwise?
  21. Hey, I'm running two games at the moment. They're moving forward, but not as much as I'd like because I don't have a big advertising budget and I'm not good at making up new crimes, items and storyline. Are you good at those things? Send me a PM and maybe we can work together. What I'll bring to the table is two games (one has 1000+ registered and 30-ish active players, other has 50 registered and 15 active), webhosting and programming skilld. I'm pretty good at PHP, MySQL, Java, some javascript and Python.
  22. Who is your friend? Do you have any licence information?
  23. ZayPay offers donations via mobile. Let your players buy donator packages by sending an sms. TrialPay lets your players complete offers against ingame stuff (making you money). Check this video on how TrialPay works:
  24. Hey guys, I need some money to advertise my game for, so I'm offering to implement paypal, zaypay and trialpay to games for a fee if there's any interest for it. Send me a PM or reply here if you're interested.
  25. I'm pretty sure you can't sell this as you've just made modifications to another script. Who made it originally?
