well this is a basic idea were all the people that sell mods can get reviews posted on there profile and people looking to buy mods of them will look at the reviews before buying what will this do to help mwg? i think it will give members (new mainly) some thing to go by as i am sure everyone here has had some "noob" come up to them and offer a mod thats not theres or is badly made etc this would be close to what ebay has quick review good bad etc (comments will you buy from them again etc) bad points - ok so new sellers will have to make a name for themselfs as without any reviews people will be taking a shot in the dark but we do that now when buying from most people so why not? so weres the seal come into it? a small seal can be made so when posting inside the marketplace they can post that img inside there post of course it will be locked to members only approved by members of mwg staff of course this is just a small suggestion i think could work and making a small list of people with good reviews (since i think there a comment area on profile anyways) will not be hard. theres the idea feel free to say if you think it will work

more then i can say for 1/2 the sites out there if i were you i would never use unpaid mods just makes you look bad and stops people letting you buy when theres a mod you really do want i think anyone would ;)

since you both have a valid licence i would not see any issues since there wont be any way for mccodes to tell (keep your config file since i think the codes are unique)

the more i look at posts the more i think mccodes paid for mwg just to have lots of "don't buy mcc" on there official forums as well as every non-official one   raven is being taken down and they have talked to the host etc but then again seems they have been for a long time i would say talk is not helping them...

it is really good seeing you try and take down raven script if it comes down i think you will find a lot of games go offline

i think you should add a poll one that say some thing like would you be willing to take part in only selling to people that hold paid copys of mcc? - yes - no -not if it cuts my money by to much -yes only if mccodes makes up my lost money (yea like they will do that lol) you get the point i think the poll will show most people will only be willing to go along with it if mccodes starts acting on things such as raven script (and we know they are now i talked to cold in chat he said hes been on with there server) you also have the small issue of what about free mods? there are still lite users that wont see this "sub-forum" o yea last thing the owner of raven.info paid for his copy (so i have been told) so whats going to happen if he wants to buy a mod? will his username be shown to mod sellers? do you even know who he/she is?

yes if they went though all the legal steps then he would need to pay up or take his site down (not that he has one yet) however mccodes needs to show hes using there code *looks up* then show hes not paid for it. i think its a lot of money just to take one site down and with 1000's out there could take some time try and stop them getting around more put into google download mccodes v2 then the sites that come up tell them to take your codes down will only help a little put its a start

unless you can get every mcc forum (cronwerks dev-forum etc) to take part in this it won't work if paid scripts get around what makes you think free ones posted to only a few people will stay safe?

  as said above copyright in the uk is the right for the creators to lend (as mccodes do) or sell copys of there (in this case source codes) stuff. now under uk law and i do assume that the host then says no this is not mccodes you must be seens in any court within the uk so that means dabs/blue (would need to be dabs really as copyright on login is his) would need to come over here and be seen in a small claims court and all you will really get is the $100 that he did not pay (if his site goes up today) or the site taken down untill he buys a copy from mccodes.com   also it comes up how do you show that mccodes was in fact used? you put my index page next to the mccodes one nothing is the same(won't ever come up for me since i paid) but you see my point law is not easy to follow at the best of times with so many sites to take down as so many countrys laws to read up on i do not think mccodes will be willing to do everyone if they are i will be very impressed.   p.s no i am not well-versed in copyright laws but this is what would happen if you both lived in the uk and i don't see a host taking sites down if theres no way of knowing its mccodes as for "cyber crime" ok so its illegal but its to hard to control as everyone knows even big names such as microsoft and apple can not always stop things getting around were way past that with mccodes i think get v3 out and make sure its controlled by mccodes

its never that easy and taking down every mccodes game out there will be like taking down 90% of servers will take time and in some cases money

if you can find and take down every mccodes game in your life time then that is a very big achievement end of the day 1/2 of them may not even look like mccodes at the back anymore so not every host will just accept mccodes has a right to ask them to take it down. that and theres always the issue of people unaware of raven being mccodes

mccodes v2 is now only $100 and if you own a vaild copy there wont be anything wrong with using raven script (as long as there not using paid for mods made by Freelancers) btw raven script does not look much more secure then v2 just has more stuff added to it all free mods btw   lol the answer to this should get this topic going :thumbup:

when you add citys are you adding there min level higher then the level you are cos they don't show up untill you hit that level

ok so did you fix staff citys? if not find Minimum Level: <input type='text' name=minlevel' />   Replace with   Minimum Level: <input type='text' name='minlevel' />   if that does not work please explain better or post your files not working is not really a lot of info
