The way 2.5 works is if the field does not pass a security check it sets they variable to empty. It then checks if any are empty, therefore would any of the inputs not pass the security checks (found in the staff file as a ternary operator). I don't have the checks in front of me so can't check them.

What are your circumstances? Is it a new game you need money to set-up or... What? How long has it been going? What would I get out of investing anything? May only be $10 (and lets face it that's not a lot), but if a was given 35% of a site I would want to know it's going to earn some money back. It's the same as any investment...

I agree with spud. The 2nd picture inside your signature is way to big. Please make it smaller, or remove it.

To be honest it was a perfectly fair comment. You're asking for comments, and someone mentions it looks the same as another game. That in itself means the first impression players will have is “Torn rip”. If it's a rip of a torn rip... you see where this is going. If you can't keep your comments civil don't say anything beyond “No it's not the same.”. Frankly it makes you look bad, not the one who brought a template that clearly looks the same to people's attention. Your work or not it is based on the same game anyway... there are other who have a very similar template. My suggestion – Even if the game is based on a larger one such as torn, the look and feel is not something you want to clone. First off people will immediately be put off by it. Second you will find a lot of people believe it's not your work. Redesign it based more around your story.

The cronwerks mod is about appealing a fed jail sentence, not really what he is asking for. Saying that the original poster could explain more e.g. what is house arrest on a game? What makes it different then jail for users?

$ir for user stats, and info. Already there with one include. Anyway, I did not say it was a good fit for the definition. It does depend on your point of view at the time. How you see it/ use it etc... It's mostly talked about as the "mccodes engine", therefore many consider it as one. To be honest it does depend if you use it as the core of your site or not. Depending how you use it you could fit it into your definition.

Things like this do work for some people, but to be honest for smaller developers like this forum mainly has it's not really going to help. What would help them more is simply gaining feedback in a beta test or maybe, depending on the circumstance, simply asking friends. For example would all members be willing to sign a non disclosure agreement so I can be sure anything I share will not be passed on before I'm ready?
