LeeMason Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Howdy y'all, Just thought I would post this since everyone likes things for free, right? Anyway, I use a program called DashLane to manage all of my passwords, auto logins etc etc and I just got an e-mail with saying anyone who signs up using this link, https://www.dashlane.com/en/cs/3bc3a764 will get 6 months premium (back-up, sync to devices) for free. Oh and I also get 6 months for anyone using it, win win. https://www.dashlane.com Anyway check it out. Cheers. Quote
Zettieee Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Lol **** no. Never. Ever. Ever. Give your password to a site. Just don't. Quote
LeeMason Posted May 13, 2015 Author Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) Lul, what? It's a piece of software. KeePass, LastPass, OnePassword, Dashlane - It's what people in the industry use o.0. How else will you manage 100's of passwords between teams, or even manage unique, secure passwords between the websites that you currently visit. Edited May 13, 2015 by LeeMason Quote

LeeMason Posted May 13, 2015 Author Posted May 13, 2015 Does it offer migration from tools like Enpass? Not sure about Enpass, I know it offers import features for LastPass, OnePassword, Keychain and from your standard browsers. I'd have to look into that one! Quote
G7470 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I've used LastPass in the past for password services with no problems whatsoever. There's nothing wrong with using these kind of services so long as you know and understand how it works. Back to OP, I personally don't like the "auto login" or "auto password change" features, so for now I'll stick with what I have, but I might decide to give this a try if I would want to start paying for the additional services (as right now I get the core services for free). ~G7470 Quote
sniko Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) LeeMason - I use services like this (as previously hinted, I use Enpass) along with Apple Keychain - both are fantastic. I'll look into your recommendation later tonight and see if I fancy to migrate :D Woo! 2,000th post! Achievement unlocked? Edited May 14, 2015 by sniko Quote
TheMasterGeneral Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Alright, I personally don't like anything that saves my password (but that's just me, personally), so others may find a use for this. However, out of curiosity, how does this work? Is it something similar to that auto-fill that most modern browsers have (which I hate and disable anyway) ? Quote
