DungeonMaster
The info from the bug tracker, where does that go? Is there a place where errors are recorded or do I rely on error logs?
KyleMassacre
hmm good question. I think there is just a table for it and that's it. sounds like a good mod idea to reply to bugs and close them
Dominion
There is a `bugs` table. I'm unsure of what the module name is that deals with it.
a_bertrand
oddly enough the module name is: "bug_tracking" for sure this part could be improved ;)
DungeonMaster
I saw the module but I do not see a link in the Admin panel to access the results.
a_bertrand
There is no link in the admin module as currently it works via the message system and send a message to the admin which can see the error and close it for example.
KyleMassacre
like I said before, sounds like a nice little modification to make for easier bug tracking
DungeonMaster
Oh, I have messenger disabled. Kyle is right, this should be something on its own or sent to admin's email the moment it happens.
a_bertrand
well question of taste. Having a new panel would not be a bad idea, but I don't like emails for such things.
DungeonMaster
It is more about efficiency than taste. I like Email because if it is something serious I don't want to wait til I login and check to find out because the site could be down, hacked or whatever. a_bertrand
Fine... as said question of taste. And no I will not change the bug tracker code for the moment.
DungeonMaster
Funny. I already have sending me Email anyway.
KyleMassacre
maybe when I'm done with my project I can make something for this but no promises :p
DeathsAlive
The only downside I can see to them being handled the way they are (via in game mail) is that if the admin(s) get a lot of mail, it can just get buried.
a_bertrand
true, but nothing prevent you to change the mod if you want ;-)
