Carnage Games - Cient Design

Hello guys im currently creating a website design for a company called Carnage Games, heres what i have so far what do you guys think :)

Would you like to give your thoughts on why it is bad rulerofzu?

Main reason I could look up 1000 templates that look just like it.

Here is a little update i have been trying a lot of different slideshows, so give me some feedback on the current one. Also i have almost completed the design now :) any feedback is welcome :)http://imageshack.us/f/689/almostdonee.png/

It looks like it's out of place and doesn't really belong with the design, the search bar is somewhat fine, but the icons look as if they've just been placed there with no thought of how to better incorporate them into your design.

On the search bar, a couple of things, try making the search icon a little smaller and equal distance from top-to-bottom, and the type shouldn't be bold.

Thank you for your reply DJK, i have actually removed the 3 icons before you posted"i may place them somewhere else" :) and yeh i will also fix up the Search bar :) i will post an updated version asap

P.S I moved the magnifiying glass down as well :) just didnt add in this image

Indeed i have by working on this for 3 days, ive completely re-designed it from what it used to be and i have been trying a lot of different things with the design. But im not sure about the Slideshow now :P may need to re-design it

I think http://960.gs/ will really help you get all the elements in the same sort of columns etc.
