Lets see....in the space of less than 2 weeks you have gone from knowing very little of PHP, MySQL and HTML & CSS to be able to provide an top standard hosting service? If you wish hosting for your game go to w3theory where the staff will actually be able to answer your questions and support your account. Quote

I saw you come onto the forums and have trouble with the most basic of problems, like page 1 of "how to make something appear on a website". You are going to be faced with much more complex errors as a host, and if you can't provide the answer, that reduces the quality of your service significantly. Then you ask why you are being talked to in the way you have been in this thread? It's simple really. People parting with their hard-earned cash for a service which promises support but cannot deliver is, in my opinion, a scam, and any comments in this thread have not been personal, but making viewers of the thread aware of the problems they may face. With the accounts, maybe something went wrong on one of your clients website. You can not keep going back to the people you purchase support from to answer it all. If you do, first you might take a long time to actually fix it and ,2, you might not be able to fix the issue as you will have to keep going back and forth between three groups without just you and the client. lucky3809 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 What happens when another client gets hacked somehow and it effects your other clients hosting, this happens to a lot of free hosting accounts, how will you handle this type of problem? and what if one of your clients without consent from the owner uploads a illegal software, and you get shut down for it, and then your other clients are left hanging with no hosting? I think you should research this before thinking about how to make cash fast, or whatever your motives are, in offering such. And you should at least have some experience with hosting, like rulerofzu said. I personally would not sign up for your service, due to lack of knowledge in hosting, and also the design of the website, and the domain name. It brings dejavu back all over again, from another poster that not to long ago had the same site like you, and they were shutdown within 8 hours after i signed up, due to illegal software that was uploaded. So yeah I know what I am talking about and you do not. Your support will not cover 3rd party scripts so how can you seriously support your clients. Also their support maybe 24/7 are you planning on getting no sleep then? Your plan to start web hosting is not thought out very well but its good that you dont care and go to whatever host you want as that is what everyone will do! Quote
