Dave Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 anyone know why a site like whois has all my personal info its quite scary.. :( i registered my domains with byethehost and they got my info somehow can anyone explain this thanks alot ICANN requires all domains to be registered with the owners VALID details. You're also able to purchase something called WhoisGuard which hides all your details. Quote

The Monk Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Normally under $10. I think mine was $8.99. Quote
a_bertrand Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Honestly does that make any difference? Or is it any issue? If yes then you should wonder why you do exactly business on internet... Quote
Djkanna Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I don't get it why does it matter? The only reason I have the guard is because it was free, otherwise I wouldn't care for it. Quote
