Pretty awesome work theere Lillith. No wonder that other game tried to sue you for copying they're graphics, but yah back on topic nice detail and good quality designs.

I do lots of work for clients. I am pretty swamped atm, price range is by quote for specific pieces. Limitations are discussed during quote process. There are a lot of limits on what I can create at an affordable price. Mostly I can create pieces that have people, animals (both real and fantasy), and buildings in them. Plants are a four letter word, and forests ..... dont get me started. But enough $$ can make anything happen.

However, I am pretty booked up for the time being. What Id really like is to see feedback on this stuff.

How about, I have more work than I can get done in a reasonable amount of time, so you cant afford me right now. Hows that for a price tag? And some of my renders do include freely available wireframe products that have verry expensive injections, and some of them have custom creations, and other have purchased wireframes, while most of them are built from any combination of the ubove. I would think that affects my price. But what has that got to do with improving the quality of my work? Id like to see suggestions, what you like / don't like.

Nah I like your work, and you just answered all I wanted to know.

Normal price behaviour, depending on availability of time and products used, something people tend to forget way to often. They see a model or wire frame free but forget what is used extra, etc to present it to them.

Thank you for understanding! I currently have about $6000 worth of wireframes, $9000 worth or software, and $30,000 in tuition and only god and my husband knows how many hours of creation time and course work (now you all know why I cant afford to sue anyone lol). I cant put a price on things when there is so many variables, it just depends on what the client wants.

Exactly and that is what people tend to forget what the investment is behind it, even as it's just putting time into a free wireframe or model. They don't see what tools are used or what the cost has been.

Any complainer , I offer them to do the same with the so called free model and see if the $50-100 is worth it to pay you for instance. Pretty sure all will say hell this takes away to much time , it's cheaper to rent lilith :p

I have a dirty mind lol, so for hire sounds dirty too, and I cant come up with a clean way to put it! But I would still like feedback on what I can do better in the images.

Dave, the images are a compilation of items I bought, morphs I added to the items in custom combinations, mats that are purchased as well as mats I have created myself. So short answer is all of the above, except none of them are from free products. With about 2million+ humanoid, item, clothing and animal wire frames available (just on the site I tend to purchase from most often), why should I reinvent the wheel when I can modify it? Its just not cost effective. I mean how many ways can you create a human or a dragon or a cup? If you like, I can create an image of two women in the same outfits, and show you the versatility of the products I use.

Edit:

v4versatility.png

Both subjects are built using V4.3 human figure, the morphing fantasy dress, Ethnic morphs, as well as elite body shapes morphs. All textures are custom created in bump map, transparencies, and mats. Both figures took about 30 min to construct, paint, and pose.

Hijacking your topic kinda, this was made a few years ago for a game project of mine called Forgotten-Legends

This is similar as what you do 'clothing' 'rendering', this animation is made with Poser 7 and Vue.

Long version (quality got less due to uploading to youtube)

Better version of the above 23Mb download http://www.cemedia.biz/forgotten-legends/fl-384kb.wmv

Short version to be placed in a loop for a index signup page. (sadly also reduced quality, thank you youtube)

Better version of the above 2.x Mb download http://www.cemedia.biz/forgotten-legends/fl.wmv

Props used costed together aprox a $150 , excluding the cost of poser and vue and time involved.

Anyway as static your examples might look like, you do have the software to turn them into animations as the above examples, that gives it a total new dimension.

Oh yes, I am getting into animation next semester and have played with it a little. Truth be told, I kinda suck at posting more than my opinion as I write it in the forums, I am lucky to be able to post images correctly LMFAO, Other than embedding a youtube video, I have no clue how to post any animation s I have played with.

lol not difficult, had to show a google link to equinox last night how to save his animation of a exploding ball :p

The reply shows that 3d objects exported to a 2D still image is just a tiny part of what can be done.

Imagine your dragons actually fight in front of the castle ....
