kcmajor36 Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Could you make one in just PHP and maybe MYSQL? Quote
Dave Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 Could you make one in just PHP and maybe MYSQL? Why would It cause a problem having jQuery in there? and due to some small child handing around my paid mods. I do not do requests generally. Quote
Djkanna Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 It wouldn't be a true shoutbox if it wasn't interactive (IE: you don't need to reload each time a message is sent) - this is where Javascript or one of it's frameworks come in! Quote

badj Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I used the above and not only did it slow up the whole site, but my AV confirmed it also came with two free trojans. This may not be down to the user, and could be a 3rd party problem, but it still exists nonetheless. Quote

badj Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 There is an external JavaScript source in there which is infected. Quote
Dave Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 There is an external JavaScript source in there which is infected. So now jQuery is actually a Trojan. AMG.. The world must be ending. Quote
Djkanna Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Oh no 'Big Brother' is sending out Trojans, this means everyone is infected after all most do use Google. Let me guess, the programme that detected this virus was Avast? Quote
rulerofzu Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Probably avast script blocker. Useless AV program Quote
Aurora078 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Well, Since Google doesn't use anyone elses ad systems and uses there own, the likelihood of it coming from those are slim. The only really way there could be a trojan is if Google did it themselves or someone hacked them and did it, which is possible, but not very likely for the virus to be on there for more than a few minutes.
