Why not, take real life as an example, if i bid on a house in an auction, (if it wouldnt be illegal xD) and i didnt win, would i have the money taken offa me. I hope not :)

i think not getting your money back will stop people bidding on items to drive the price up for someone

My auction script won't give money back on bids, for two reasons

1) It's a great way to get back some of that game currency.

2) Deters members from placing practice bids of high amounts.

Add a row "AuctCITY" (Add only ids of citys)

Select it from all queries and match it against users location

then simply check if there in that city before adding the bid
