Uridium Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 Will try updating this mod i think the reason for all the mass edits was when we were unable to edit our posts back then so things just got kinda out of hand with lots of edits.. Quote
peterisgb Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 thanks for this, its a shame i had to nearly rewrite every page due to error pretty much every page Quote

Uridium Posted January 17, 2012 Author Posted January 17, 2012 The reason you were getting these errors is due to how the forums display links on older posts so for example all the links would have been displayed like [*url=gamelayout.php?action=layout]Back[*/url] added the * so you can see how it has changed in the script all you need to do is recode to make then <a href statements Quote
Tysoon Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /var/www/html/layoutinstall.php on line 324 Quote
Uridium Posted January 18, 2012 Author Posted January 18, 2012 Tysoon go therough the script and any bbocde mentiones take them out of all the scripts and add the relevant url system IE <a href=" Quote
Tysoon Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 Illusion, you need to edit your first post on the very first page... and make it clear how to install, not post codes on different pages of the threads, it makes it difficult to follow... Thank's Quote
bineye Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 tbh if you want to make/own a game, you should learn to fix these errors yourself. because eventually you will need to know how to do it if you ever want to get off the ground. your demanding attitude on a forum is not the way to achieve this Quote
Dominion Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Illusion, you need to edit your first post on the very first page... and make it clear how to install, not post codes on different pages of the threads, it makes it difficult to follow... Thank's It's a fairly old post, and at the time I believe mdshare(the old owner of the site) put a time limit on when you could edit your posts. That aside you should consider looking into fixing basic problems. If you need help on something specific ask, but you can't expect someone to support a three year old free modification. Quote
newttster Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Go to your game site ... then type into the address bar the installer. I believe this is how you do it. http://www.yourgamename/nameofinstaller.php If I am wrong on this ... I'm sure someone will post the correct way to do this. Quote
